Peak city planning. Ffs.

Couple of water droplets fall from a grey cloud and this city becomes zombie town. Blocked drainage, cut off electricity and all the fucking grocery apps are down. Jesus. It’s just really getting to me. That’s it, that’s the post.

Discussion about post white collar labour economics

These days, I can't help but keep on thinking about post white collar labour economy and it's implication on our day to day life.... We can keep on dwelling in our wishful cocoon but fact remains that world is going to be vastly different in 4-5 years vis a viz today... In that scenario, let's us discuss some scenario : 1. What will be impact on rental yields of tier 1 cities and consequently what will be overall impact on Indian real estate 2. What would be impact on banking interest rates 3. Where will you park your money in that scenario : Gold, Indian Equity , Big Tech Equity , FD, Real estate or Cash.. My opinion : 1. As high paying jobs for majority of people diminishes, Rental yields of tier 1 cities will come down thereby directly impacting real estate. This will result in huge NPA by those people who have taken loans for 20-30 years period. This will eventually bankrupt real estate developers thereby making real estate deflationary. 2. We will begin to witness overall a deflationary society where cost of services like Education, software, finance etc will drastically reduce. Moreover due to high NPAs, banking interest rate will reduce. Home loans for tenure of 20-30 years will drastically reduce due to increased uncertainty. 3. Gold has historically been inflation proof asset. However will it still be a good asset to invest into in a deflationary society? What are things that will still hold value then? Don't you think current big techs will become East India Company of future indirectly controlling world's economy? I would love to know what do grapevine folks think about the same !

Bangalore on

People are not serious about Bangalore's condition. A rant post.

This water shortage thing in Bangalore is pretty depressing. There is an extreme shortage of water but no one on this planet seems serious about it. People are busy making memes around it , poking political parties , blaming the government. The government is blaming other governments and that's it. Imagine there were 280 lakes in the city now there are only 15. Imagine once Lalbagh and cubbon park were connected and there were elephants living there. How can a random land mafia dry up the lake and build stupid buildings illegally purely for their profits? They will profit from it but whose resources they took? Nature's resources that were meant for everyone. That land mafia must be chilling in Atlantis hotel in the rooftop swimming pool and here we are drying up. In the end , only the one sitting at the top would benefit from it and the one who will suffer is common person and they are still not realising how badly they will suffer in future. If you don't have water what are you going to drink? 500 2000 notes smoothie? No amount of money can give water. These land mafias and politicians will import fresh water for their families to drink after depleting Indian resources. What are you going to do ? And then this government brings CAA law to bring more people to our country where the existing citizens don't have enough resources. WAKE UP SAVE INDIA FROM POLITICIANS. Anyway , this is not a propaganda post against any political party because all parties are at the end corrupted, they will exploit everything to make money and then safeguard their family by sending them in foreign countries. The one who will suffer is us.
