12LPA @27 Years. Am I a failure.
12lpa @ 27 yrs age. Is it too low for this age. I see most people here reach 30+ ctc by this age and get multiple marriage offers also. I feel ashamed now, i think marriage also less chance.

Bro.. please check infosys employees salaries. Most of them are not earning atleast 15 LPA, though they are in 30s . Please be optimistic and upskill . Nothing to ashame.
If you speak with infosys employees , defintely you will become more optimistic trust me!! Speak with them and know their salaries!!

Ex infosician here, can confirm. Was having 4.75 lpa at 5 years, graduated from clg at 21, so almost at 5lpa at 26, first switch 8.5lpa in next 1.5 years, 15 lpa in next 1 years, 25 lpa in next 1 years, internal appraisal 27 lpa in next year, again expecting 10% increase

Haha , want to meet someone from infosys

I'll be 27 this month and I'm earning < 5LPA, Do I think I'm a failure? Nooo..I have moved from a tech support agent to admin and now dev for 2 years now. It might take some time but I will fix my salary as well..

No not at all, I was at 9 lpa at 27, and currently at 37 lpa with 31. The growth is never linear in life so don't worry

that's a huge jump! please explain

I switched my field, made aggressive changes within a short span of time and worked extensively on my skills to achieve this position. Also currently making a switch to 74 lpa

Bhai it will be 40 lacs in no time. At 27 my CTC Was 6.6

Ashame kyu ho raha h bhai? With new regime, you are making 1L/month. Mazak ni hai, probably top 5% of India makes that (not sure but maybe 10%). And at 27 (~4/5 years of career)
This is good bro. Discourage mat ho. Keep upskilling and switch jobs ~every 2 years and you will grow at 30%+ on an annualised basis - if youβre shifting to the right places or find a good high growth company and you might increase 30-40% year on year in a 10 year career.

Haan man no need to be ashamed

Thanks a lot guys

7.5 at 27, Bro if you are a failure, then what the hell am I. I think you are doing well. Keep grinding
