Palo Alto Networks Bangalore
Anyone know how's the work culture at Palo Alto Networks Bangalore? Also, have they done layoffs in the past? Any input would be appreciated. Thanks.

They have done layoffs in the past. Guess they have faced some tumultuous time
I talked with an employee there. He said its 3 days wfo. You can choose the days yourself. And it's not mandatory to stay 8 hours in office. Since you might have to attend meeting at US hours you can log off early and then go home and login again.
But its true over time this may not provide a proper work life balance.
Networks businesses have mature products, higher entry barriers, good profits, not in a mad rush for growth. The work culture is generally good.

I think they’re a great company to work for. They’re our competitors but have a lot of ex-colleagues working there who vouch for it. Good pay, RSUs. Leaders in Gartner MQs and other analysts reviews. Good innovation happening there. A bit of Cisco work culture since a lot of folks from Cisco have joined there which means there’ll be good WLB.
There’ve been some layoffs last year but largely in non-tech roles but that’s expected when all their competitors did double digit layoffs.
A con is that there’s a bit more attrition than normal. Big company woes. Lot of M&A so readjustments.
Found this interesting as I am contemplating a position there. Glassdoor reviews mostly point to 4 days WFO which is too much to claim WLB. Also I would expect collaboration with US teams making late hour work regular. Any real insights into this would be highly appreciated.
