I might probably regret this especially since I’ve seen a lot of backlash on this platform for crypto. But honestly, this has been a rewarding stint. And note that I didn’t say “crypto” as I don’t always advice people to invest in crypto. AMA!

I'd say I'm a pretty strong PM with decent brand names on my resume (Top 5 non-IIM MBA, best-in-the-class SaaS startups). I've even optimized my resume to the satisfaction of a FAANG mentor. All in all, I think I should be getting call-backs. But that's not happening. Weaknesses: No-name B-Tech college, no BigTech brand names, No large consumer brand names Any advice or experiences? Especially from FAANG PMs and Hiring Managers?

To all the senior level employees here. Why do companies take so many rounds of interviews? Why can't they judge based on 2 rounds of interviews - 1 DSA and projects and other on System Design. The first round is any way a bogus round I feel. Years of education, work experiences and still it doesn't say anything about my qualifications. Also, all the rounds have same questions - Leetcode medium. Then how the fuck they are helping in final decision? Any lights upon these.

I recently started interviewing after a period of about 5 years and I am very surprised about the change in the way interviews are conducted these days. I have now interviewed for few companies like Sitetracker, Avance Clinical, Iron Mountain and expedite commerce and each organisation had their first round as a fit check round which i’m unable to clear. Can you guys share some tips around it.

With an increase in the number of AI tools that help companies screen candidates (effectively, or so they say), how comfortable would you be with a tool screening your resume or taking your first round of interviews? If you aren't comfortable, is there something that the tool can implement that would make you feel comfortable?
