Content-creators are not really 'Content'
The internet/apps gave people a platform. Everyone is seeking to be popular without putting in the effort. There's no need for 'Deep Work' anymore. Everyone wants to give Gyan and life-lessons on LinkedIn.
I just lament the subversion of goals and ambition into a phoney-seemingly-all-knowing-charade on one of the social media platforms.
If you ask older generation folksy, especially from the country side, they'll only focus on great basics. Eat well, sleep well, work hard, have faith. The older I get the more I really respect this.
I don't remember a single post of "10 ways to whatever the hell", yet I would've read a ton of them. It's all bullshit anyway.
But I guess there are far more people who consume such shit than the ones who create. Everyone wants to get rich get laid get powerful and these creators just exploit this mindset.
I agree @UpsetAnt86
Whats your view on why this is happening.
- why people consume ‘gyaan’ content at scale.
Is there something missing from daily lives.
Do they need hope.
Do they need motivation.
Is this just an online version of what ‘babaji’s’ do in physical world in a tent filled with people.
Really, and it works too don't know how
