Unable to switch job in Devops Engineer Field

Hi All, I have 3 Years experience as an automation test engineer and want to switch into devops. I have done the DevOps course and gained hands experience. How can I show my experience as a DevOps engineer because all openings require 2-3 years of relevant experience. And in my payslip my designation is written. I'm so confused what should i do ?

Hi I have been working as an azure VM support engineer for 2 yrs Feeling stuck now as no monetary growth or any career growth here I have learned by my own SQL , Azure data factory , data bricks ,other cloud ETL tools but no serious hands on Please advise me how to proceed to switch as the company needs a handson experience on Azure when looking for azure data role Thanks

Joined a new org 9-10 days ago where I had been interviewed for a developer role in a legacy tech stack. Yesterday in a connect the TL told me I won't be working on the development side of things but rather in the environment/platform side of things, mostly doing configurations with minimal or no coding. The role seems very specific to this org and considering this is on a legacy stack I don't think there's much scope even in learning for me at all. I had two stages of interviews with this org and all of them were for a developer role, something like this did not even come up during interviews or the pre-connects I had with them pre joining. So confused and frustrated, because I had accepted this offer since it's a PBC and moved to North India even when I had a 22% higher offer in a tier 2 based service company in my home town. I have two options now: 1. My team has a great WLB. Stick to the non dev role & use the next 6 months to practice DSA & upskill myself from my current legacy stack to something more commonly used like Java/Node and crack some other PBC. 2. Immediately start looking outside and interviewing again for a developer role in my current legacy stack, since I am on probation and can leave early and maybe even get a small hike over current CTC. YOE - 2 Can anyone please give some inputs or suggestions on what to do? Been interviewing since March and I finally managed to clear one and now this shit is happening.

Short version:-So guys I am working as an automation tester wanted to switch to Development? Long version:- So i joined my current company as fresher.Had basic knowledge of java then was trained on java spring boot Microservices devlopment. Then put on bench for about 5 month(i actually wasted that time).Now got a project I do automation using python and selenium.I don't like doing it . So now I want to switch to development. Confused should i learn Django, Node js or should stick with java spring only. I am more inclined towards django as now i write automation script in python. And i personally feel it to be better then java (maybe cause it is easier to write).But i don't know market trends. That's why guidance needed.Thanks in advance

Anyone hiring?? I’m DevOps Engineer working in a 5Yrs old startup with total 2.5YoE. Core tech stack is Kubernetes and Docker and anything in this eco system. Want leave as job has become repetitive and I don’t like that.

I am currently working as an Operations Specialist in Business org and have good rapport within the team as well. But due to the restructuring and the internal favouritism i cannot grow in the team no matter how hard/smart i work.(I can see people getting appreciation when they are saying Yes to everything). I want to leave the team but looking at the current job market i don't think it is not possible now. Thinking i can get into the tech side i have also learnt AWS , SQL etc but haven't done any personal projects(maybe i need more guidance and practice) and i am ready to focus more on this as i am well versed with the IT concepts. So, now i am not so sure what to do 1. Should stay back and wait for the right opportunity?(hopefully i am not affected by layoffs) 2. Invest more time towards IT(need guidance cause i do not have any connections) 3. Opt for higher studies (cause every body is doing) includes going abroad which i cannot afford in any way possible 4. Take somebody's help for the guidance (no reliable connections) 3. I am not so sure what i want. Thanks 🙏

I have completed my B. Tech few days ago. Working in a small startup for 3lpa and I am not getting any projects to work. Initially I was trained to work in spring boot . Now they are told to learn devops and so I learnt them and now I'm not have any work related to cloud also.Sitting simply throughout the day. I have joined the company as intern in july 2023. Any Guidance what to do what to learn. I'm currently learning DSA. I have knowledge in spring boot, AWS and some devops concept.

I'm currently working as DSE at Infosys from june 2022 ,i am willing to make a switch to a product based company, but I'm getting almost no interview calls, only calls that i get are mostly from small startups. Can anyone suggest me on how to secure interviews

Need suggestion on transitioning career from automation lead to devops Engineer. Whether this career change will be a good option or not. If not what will be next career option which will help for long run in IT industry to survive. If yes what's the learning path and by learning azure devops whether this will give more boost to career or not in devops journey.
