Leaving the job without any offers in hand

I come from a good college (tier 2) with very good placements but because of mental health reasons ( I was severely struggling) i had to skip placements. After being unemployed for 4 months after graduation my family forced me into taking a job I never wanted. Very low pay, extremely toxic work culture and insane work hours. I don't even have energy or time left to prepare for interviews or even apply to other jobs. This job is slowly pushing me back into depression. And it even hurts to see that all my friends are earning 17+LPA base + stocks and other benefits, while I can't even get a 15CTC job. I feel my career is over and see no hopes for my future. Should I quit so I can atleast prepare for a better job? Any advice is appreciated.

was neglecting my mental health for long time...due to unrealistic deadlines and pressure today got a panic attack at work felt light headed and almost passed out.. currently i am not having any offer in hand so should i quit?.. don't want to my physical health to deteriorate more but i am really confused..not having any responsibility as such..having around 5 6 months corpus and can shift to my home and save more but still that uncertainty and fear is there which is making me miserable day by day

I'm working at toxic environment. Since I don't have any responsibility and can take care of myself until I find next job I was planning to quit my job without another job at hand. My family doesn't have an issue. But I'm scared if it will be a problem to find another good job as I'll be jobless? I have 6 months gap before joining here for education. I have completed 6 months here and I'm planning to leave. Please advise.

Its been 3 months since I left my last company after completing 8 months of internship, I rejected the full time offer because I was exploited and work culture was very toxic, since then I applied to more than 100+ jobs online and hardly converted 5 interviews and got 1 offer for part time which is soon going to be revoked, assuming from the company's behaviour. At this point I have lost all the motivation to work, improve and apply for jobs I am tired and drowing in self doubt. It even kills me to see the people who are not skilled as I am are getting good jobs and salary. With all this my family is not so supportive and not a single day has passed where I didn't get into arguments with my parents.

So, my current job is something I don't like. I don't enjoy it as it is almost stagnant. There's no work, but there's still this anxiety of work. The company doesn't know what it is doing, so even I have no work that I can do. This doesn't align with my career goals and I feel like every day I spend in this company, I'm literally destroying my career in long term. I want to resign, but the market is bad, specially for product roles. But I can't work here anymore. What should I do?

I have been working in a company for the past 3 years. The company is not growing and there is nothing much to learn. I have been searching for a job for a month. I have got some rounds and but couldn't crack them. Now I am thinking of resigning from the job. I am also ok with sitting idle for some time. Is it the right decision? TIA

My manager called me in the meeting and said that from now onwards all 7 days are working because we are behind tasks. ( These tasks are irrelevant to me as these are not related to any customer development, he just wants to see how the data adds up ) Honestly I think it was the diwali week where people took things lightly and not that we are behind deadlines. He asked me to be available 24x7 this Friday to Sunday but I had already planned the weekend off with family and pre intimated this 10 days in advance. Now I'm getting calls that 'x' task was not done and 'y' customer is complaining etc. ( which is not the case ) On this break, I've finally made up my mind to quit. The mental pressure is not worth it. WHAT is a good way to put it across to the leadership??

I think I have an hypothesis of what’s the root cause of the toxicity at workplaces. Especially startups, but this theory should be extended to big companies as well. Step 1: Putin starts the war Step 2: Inflation increases, to combat it federal reserve of USA increases interest rates Step 3: the capital in the funding eco system(vcs) gets diminished, because they don’t have access to low interest money. Step 4: company ceos start to do layoffs, starts putting pressure on teams to reduce the audit findings, release things quickly etc Because you need to make money to survive Step 5: directors (tech and product) start putting pressure on Engineering managers Step 6: Engineering managers and product owners start putting pressure on us(normies), where our estimates get challenged, work will be micro managed or hyper optimized to the point you feel like you are not respected nor you opinion. You start to think whether it’s really worth staying here or you need to find a different job. Then you find that no one’s really hiring or the ones that are hiring are lowballing you. You cannot really quit, because you have monthly EMIs and don’t really have a runway. You become disengaged with work, and start doing the bare minimum to stay float. At this point, the pressure you have been getting increases because the expectations are high, but you don’t care anymore Now you are burned out, and you really start thinking if you chose the right career.

I work in a company where I am daily abused they call me dumb and my manager says I lack intellect and it’s shocking I am engineering graduate where i should have taken arts. My team leads are no good they also leave no chance to abuse me or make fun of me. They sit right next to me and are busy making fun of me. On top of that this company tracks our mouse and keyboard activity with screenshot of our monitor every 10 seconds to evaluate activity even when in office and there is no remote work policy. Almost daily I am abused and my mental health is gone for a toss. I am in depression and also feel that maybe truck hit me before i go to office because daily I am ridiculed there. Remarks like : I will slap you if any change comes in PR. You are so dumb. Cannot code dumbo. and see recession what will happen if we fire you is common in company. I fear market situation. So i am confused what to do?

Currently I’m a software engineer in corporate. But now my company has full demotivated environment and I’m not able to work or deliver my tasks. I’m applying for other companies also . But don’t even get interviews scheduled. What should i do? Should i go for govt jobs also? Should i resign first then decide? Should i continue working ? Should i think about career switching? My brain itself is not braining , and filled with such thoughts.
