Have you met any film professionals (actors, singers, etc)? Stories please!

A few years back, my friends and I went to watch a regional movie. As soon as the interval was flashed on screen, the lights turned on and a person said please wait before going for your regular interval things. The cast of the film is here. Then they interacted with the audience inside the hall followed by interactions and pictures clicking outside the hall. And they weren't throwing any tantrums or trying to do any false show-offs.

Met Surya Kumar Yadav at a hotel in Bangalore. It was me, him and his wife going up the lift. They had just shopped a lot at Burberry, enough that the concierge had to take a separate lift to carry all the bags. And before I could exchange pleasantries, it got awkward. His wife, obviously was in a good mood. As soon as the lift closed, she started kissing him. And for some weird reason, I started feeling too hot. I am at one end of the lift trying to think of witty ice breakers, with my heart pounding, and desperately trying not to look. And at the other end is Sky, with his mouth engaged and very different thoughts in his head. At the end, I resigned to my fate; the lift opened and they walked out. Uski biwi ki tharak ne mere do minute ka fame cheen liya.

My most memorable interaction had been with Cyrus Broacha. Met him in the Bangalore airport a few years back and both of us had delayed fights. Really funny guy. Had met Deepika Padukone when she was just into modelling. There used to be this event called Bengaluru Habba that used to be organised in December. She'd come to inaugurate the food fest along with her father. She was 18 I guess back then and we were all stumped.

I worked in Mumbai so spotted many celebrities here and there. In fact our office building had a recording studio so many big names like Anu Malik, Jatin-Lalit were frequent visitors. But the only time I approached someone was when I was in the same Ola Share cab with the lyricist of "Tune mere jaana kabhi nahi jaana". God I loved that song in college. I clicked a few pictures and wished him well. Very soft spoken guy and down to earth.

Yes I recently met a Tamil hero and script writer Vijay Kumar in Bangalore . The interaction was very interesting .

Seen Saif Ali Khan, Prasoon Joshi, Adil Hussain, youtubers, never went upto them 🙃
