Is Meesho even hiring PMs?

Roles: APM -2/PM - 1 YOE: 3 (2 years with growth startup, 1 year with seed startup) I have previously applied with referrals and my applications have very high rates of conversion. Has never worked with Meesho. Looking for: 1. Potential leads on hiring managers to cold email 2. Referrals from SPM++ folks that would carry more weight

I have my subsequent interview round for product manager role coming up in meesho in a few days. It's going to be a "problems solving" round. Any info regarding what to expect, sample questions and best practices are welcome. TIA

See that Meesho has hired loads of PMs from ISB (I think because VP Product is an ISB Alum). Any bias towards it? Considering ISB PMs come at high cost, the average PM salary would easily be 27-29L. Though the company has bragged about amazing work policies - permanent WFH, quaterly meetups, unlimited leaves and so on. But it seems like they are going back on their word by calling people to the office. How's the overall team culture? Can someone shed some light?

So I've met many PMs in my career. Most have been sub par, poor performers, can't even do IC work. The ones who can do IC work, can't think. The IC work is generally project management not product. They need someone to tell them directions So here's a few things. The best PMs I've met, are good engineers. Yes. These are the same folks who come for product management conferences and are respected. Of course not all engineers are good at product. The role of product came up with manufacturing first when you had product designers who worked with engineers and had a good understanding of both engineering limitations and user understanding. Some of the PMs I have met don't even talk to users. The reason i am seeing an issue in PMs in India is the increase in demand in the role, and a lack of supply. There is a product engineer role, I met a few folks who are doing that, they were amazing. Knew technology, users, product and super passionate. I'm not saying this is a hard and fast rule, I'm sure there are folks who have a natural inclination, so if you're an exception, understand that. Don't get offended by the statement

Have 4.5+ years of product experience in e-commerce, IoT space. Finding difficult to even get interview calls. Is there anyone else who is struggling too? What are the measures are you taking? Any advice?
