Will there be any impact if I join a new company when I am on leave during my last week of my notice?

Hi, I have resigned from my organisation which has a 90 days notice period clause. I have another offer which I need to join in 60 days. My current employer is not at all agreeing for early release. Can i join a new company while being on notice period with my current employer? What are the implications?

I am awaiting an offer from a big MNC, and I have discussions ongoing with some small companies as well. My notice period is now over, as my project is finished and they asked me to leave in a month (they don't want to keep me on the bench) So, I wanted to check if there would be any issues if I opt to join a small company whoever offers me first and then whenever the big ones offer, leave the small company dropping them a mail and returning their assets, and join the big one without serving the notice period in the small company? Kindly advice.

Concerned: 1. Tell now, they may understand or revoke. 2. Keep quiet, can they find out later via background check? 🤷‍♂️ Policies differ, but it's about people, not policies—understand or do shit. I am a 2024 grad. I got to know that my org has 3 month notice period. I have talked with 2-3 seniors, I got to know that they don't let go before 3 months and don't offer buy out. The CTC is not that good also (8.3 LPA). My background - new IIT CSE, 500+ question on leetcode, knight in leetcode, specialist in codeforces, have projects in go backend, intership in spring boot, sql tech stack. Had to take this offer as I didn't cheat in on campus placement and less companies were visiting my campus. My job location is in Chennai, I have done internship there. I do not like the weather there and my org says that I have to go there only. I want to do a early switch(weather+low ctc). Many peeps from WITCH do switch despite having 3 month notice period. Can someone guide me what to do in this situation. Do I have no other option than staying in this company ? Please enlighten me all software engineers 🙏🏻🙏🏻

Hi everyone, I need advice on the next steps. I submitted my resignation 20 days ago, but my manager hasn't approved it yet. She insists that I serve the full 60 day notice period, of which 20 days are already completed. I've requested to shorten it to a 40 day notice period, but she hasn't accepted my request. I'm also willing to buy out the remaining notice period. If I proceed with the buyout, will it affect my relieving and experience letters or cause any issues during the background verification process. Should I talk to her manager regarding this , as now she's on sick leave for entire 1 week. Please advise on what to do. Thanks.

Hi guys, I joined a crap company just so that I can get some income and not freeload at home and I have been applying for other better jobs. My plan is if within 2-3 months, I get a better job then I will abscond from here and not show this company in my resume. I don't want a relieving/experience letter and I don't want the salary or PF. I just want to abscond as soon as I get the offer. Can the company do something, like legal action, if I abscond?
