I am 12 year experience and wanting to transition my career from software development area to non tech roles my strengths are communication , analytical, committed worker . I aspire to manage and lead in future I want to feel fulfilled and earn and maintain work life balance. Kindly guide I’m willing to learn up skill but confused by all training or upgrade ads in internet?? Kindly help I feel I’m sinking as I am exploited at work and only dumped with more work development related it feels as if it’s a desk back end job with no recognition

I am in sales for last 6 years and I come from a banking background ,I have an experience in B2B SAAS for 1.8 years now . 

I want to grow in my career, understand the industry . I am doing good but I have an urge to grow fast as all my friends have a good package and they are growing very fast,I feel left out and feel very bad of not having good package. 

Can I look for some analytics course ? Or any one would like to recommend me something which can upgrade my skills.

I am 32, and I am currently working in IT support (Incident/problem management. I have currently working in my company for 7 years, and I am currently very much underpaid even though my managers and management are happy with my work. 
I have tried to switch into the same domain in another companies but they are expecting me to lower down the salary, and then I came to know that this job role doesn't yield much and growth is dead end. 
So, I am looking to switch into Devops since I find it interesting after exploring other options. May I ask whether it is possible to make a switch after 11 years in the IT industry and how much realistically it is possible? I would appreciate your suggestion and feedback. Thank you

Hi,
I have almost 8 YOE in software development. I was in my comfort zone and spent 6.5 years in a service based Indian MNC on a legacy project, where I only did what was assigned. I don't think I have good skills in the technology I was working on. 

Then I switched and I wasn't informed but when I got into the new company which did pay me much better, my technology got changed. Now earlier I was working on a very highly used technology, but now I am on a niche technology which is less used and might disappear in say 10 years.

I am worried about the future.
I don't know if I should go back to the technology in which I was working earlier (C#.net), or learn a newer tech like data science or AI and try to start fresh or continue with the one I am working on(a Telecom billing solution).
Can you please suggest to me the path?

Hi all, I’ve been working with oracle for almost 2 years. It feels stagnant now. No new skills, newtech to work upon, moreover my position is Associate SDE but I’ve been with QA team since beginning. I’ve talked to manager regarding same but no fruitful outcome. I feel stuck. 
Im actively looking for switch but can’t figure out which skills to study or start from bcoz different companies ask for different skillset. And my profile looks more like automation tester then SDE. Pls help !!

Sadly I got D band, I had resigned but due to personal circumstances I couldn't find an offer and resumed back. However timing was wrong so happened around March end when I rejoined. So being a C3B my salary is now reduced by 20%

I'm working in service based company in worst tech (acc to me ). There are not enough projects still they hire so many freshers .

Current now I'm  1 year 3 months exp

I'm doing self study of data engineer and done some decent project .

Should I plan for internal switch or look for outside opportunities.
Will I get atleast mid senior role outside?(im planning after 2 years exp)
I don't wanna start again in entry level.

What checklist should I follow to successful switch.
I didn't get any hike for my first year( that's y I'm planning all this)
