TBH I moved to Delhi due to work requirements and for the past 2 weeks water timing has been changed, Electricity gets cut at night just before 10 - 20 mins before current water timing i.e 12:00 at night. Whole areas power has been going off and still no one bothers to complain or asked the authorities. The landlord doesn't wanna know about it or can't do anything about it and roads are the worst tbh stalls can be placed on footpaths which won't be that much of an issue but almost half streets are covered and no-one is bothered with it. Mumbai mein municipality g maar deti logo ki tbh. Drivers are fucking assholes and scums no matter if they have to take the wrong lane they'll do it regardless of the road conditions. I'm disappointed to see how so many people are facing the issues but nobody wants to face the reality and ask questions.

Came to Bangalore to join an in-office role, the org and role is good. 

But coming from Gurgaon, I was not able to like the city. 

Some cons: 

- Extremely poor infrastructure like a tier 2 city 
- Every govt official is corrupt, police can harass you anywhere 
- You neither feel homely nor is there any vibe of a cosmopolitan city. Local politics will not let this city become a cosmopolitan startup hub. Gurgaon is so so much better. 

- Everyone just wants to loot money, everything is expensive. Rent is high, landlord deducting 1 month extra rent, unnecessarily high security amount, cook and maid everything is so effin’ expensive 

- Alcohol is expensive. 

- Good food is expensive 

The value of money is lesser here as compared to the rest of the country. 

I have a flight tonight and I am so happy that it’s a one way flight. 

I don’t mean to offend anyone, but bangalore can be very lonely and it has been so for many of my friends. 

Particularly ease of life is much higher in NCR and that’s why a lot of people move back. Those who feel otherwise haven’t lived in NCR so Bangalore is more of just a bubble for them.

This is honestly so sad.

I'm 21 and have seen all this stuff happen first hand when I was in school especially amongst guys. 

Delhi has become a hellhole, especially for children. Delhi was always the trendsetter when it came to hurling abuses but it has gone too far in the past 10-15 years.

Memories of fights outside my school(decent private school) are still very fresh, people used to pick up whatever they could lay their hands on. If you were a guy who was super slim and/or on the shorter side you were most definitely going to be picked on and if you retaliated, good luck. You mess with the wrong person, there would be cars with goons and hockey sticks outside waiting for you at 2:15 sharp.

A lot of times they didn't turn violent but events such as these definitely have an impact, you never forget such an interaction. 

Has the situation gotten worse everywhere or is this exclusive to Delhi?
