Why are we so obsessed about ctc, I understand that it's important but, in YouTube or linkedin I don't find any Indian YouTuber who are doing great engineering discussions or inventing anything. Indian youtube channel are just interviews and project for portfolio or DSA algo shit for interview. No fun stuff, coding for fun, fun algorithms. I follow Daniel shiffman.. coding train, just makes me think why we don't have any YouTuber or content creator who likes and loves the fun aspect of coding. Does this reflects our engineering society or my algorithm is biased towards such things?

I mostly discount such things but here it was an explicit bet because the funds knew Aprameya and not because they saw any potential in the idea. Doomed to fail from the start, no matter how right wing they positioned it to be.

Was listening to the conversation between Ajay Sharma and Neelkanth Mishra (It's on youtube, highly recommended). In the part 2, they discuss about Services exports and the revolution that IT exports have brought to India. That was the aha moment for me. In this platform, we criticize NRN, and the other IT co founders without realizing how much our lives have changed because of their 25+ years of work. (I'll be the first to admit, I was a part of this bandwagon too). If India did not have IT exports, we would be like Pak/SL or even worse today. That's not me, that's them saying this. While it's all good to mock NRN / Sudha Murthy, our generation doesn't realize the advantageous position that their efforts have put us in, and we should be grateful for this. They are the giants on whose shoulders we stand as we build for India 2.0, the fastest growing EM economy, with a fairly well developed startup ecosystem and public markets.

Seems like since last year the focus of government has shifted from actually making beneficial policies to enable innovation and growth of India to just collecting taxes blindly. They just want to harvest tax in as many ways possible and kill the middle class person. First it was crypto. Then us salaried individuals started receiving notices. Then they levied 28% GST on online gaming. Now they are also checking proofs for HRA allowance and other stupid stuff which wasn't done before. I was wondering why there is a sudden increase in such incidents? Is the government hiding something? Are they running out of money? Or are they just smoking weed just like us and making stupid rules?

I geniually want to understand why we are behind in manufacturing ? Although I'm from commerce background but I would love to know how does one start manufacturing business in India ? What type of engineers you need ? Honestly I don't have any clue but if any has some information pls discuss here.

I have applied for leave for 2 days this Thursday n Fri, There’s certain important presentation came up on this Thursday. I said I have lay over for 3 hrs. I will do the presentation in that, no issues from my side. My manager said, no I don’t entertain such behaviours in my team. If you’re on leave, enjoy it. Don’t think about it work. I felt weird coz, I have never worked in any org, where managers stops you to work 😅
