34 Days and counting..
Been over a month I have been laid off. For the first time in almost 4 years I have had no work at all for over a month. Feels a bit good, a bit relaxed from the immense work pressure and toxicity but at the same time lot of pressure with regard to finances, as and more days are passing. Have been taking time out to upskill myself, applied to over 300+ jobs maybe by now. Got call backs from 10-12, interviewed with 5. None of them turned out to be positive yet. Lot of sympathy and empathised content goes on LinkedIn but reaching out to people, 1/15 may respond, putting a status, people just write CFBR mostly (hence I totally avoided that).
Any advice, tips, help would be appreciated.

- Cold mailing has worked out best for me.
- I used to keep a daily Target for applying to jobs/ writing to people. Min 5 a day.
- Never stop applying, even if you are negotiating final details with an org.
- Don't worry, the more you interview the better you'll get and land a job.
- I'd encourage you to take an additional goal in fitness or your personal life. Will keep you day going much better.

Was not laid off, but took a 4 mos break post 2nd lockdown.
I get it you don’t have leverage, so people are slow to respond, hrs take you for granted.
What I did?
- warm intros and referrals
- prepared for interviews well
- cracked one company (want choosy, just joined it, basic criteria was em work culture, I can optimize for money later)
- went to a smaller brand name (industry change as well)
