Above 1L on a gaming laptop doesn't make sense. Why not a PC? Because of the mobility?
Rtx 4080 and i9 with a good g-sync screen, if purely for gaming can pick i7 to save some bucks. Then just buy the one which has all of these at the least cost. Upgrade whatever ram you get to 32gigs. 1tb SSD(more if u need more space) + a 2-5tb hdd.

Nice recommendation but refrain from using HDD. Most HDDs in my exp have failed in 3 yrs. But ssd last longer although they are more expensive.
@Scorezzz That's weird. HDDs are known for lasting longer than SSDs. But def don't get a laptop without an SSD. It'll be too slow

Anything from MSI if you want high end. HP pavilion series is also decent.

I have a high end gaming laptop (Acer Predator) and can tell you it's not worth it, it's extremely heavy, a pain to carry around, fan noise and heat are also major problems along with pathetic battery life.
Get a PS5 or Xbox instead.
I had a gaming laptop before . Asus fx series . I really loved it . Used to game straight for 10-12 hours on it .
HDDs have moving parts, if you use them regularly (i.e. use read and write functions a lot, etc) they should decay due to wear and tear eventually. If you just store data and it's a good company then longevity is better. Did you use SSD as main(with OS, etc on SSDs) and just use HDD for storage like storing data which you don't change frequently?
I've MSI laptop it's very good, pretty light weight for it's prowess, just black colour body gets smudges easily then it looks dirty need to clean with cloth.
Well, thats a big range. If you are keen on a > 2 lac laptop, you would be better off a getting a 4060 laptop worth around 1 lac for gaming on the go and spending the rest on a gaming pc with a desktop 4070 providing perf close to laptop 4080 when at home.
Bought HP Omen 16 for 1.14 in the last sale. Happy with the purchase.

Playing Dota 2, RDR 2. Some software tuning had to be done to keep the temps below 70. The display wobbles a bit, not a concern if it's docked.
