Let me iterate a incident of a friend of mine, he got matched on some dating site with a girl, they start chatting and everything was good and suddenly she asked are you maharashtrian? He said no , I am living in mumbai from birth but originally from UP, and you know what she replied “I want to date maharastrian only and blocked him”
It’s one of the incident, I am having whole list of such kind of incidents

Strange, I've lived in Mumbai and never experienced anything like this. But this does happen in many places, women prefer someone they can marry soon in the future. Hence this criteria.
