[Thread] What are the best cities in the world for food? 🌏
I was in Singapore last week and I loved the food here. What are some of the best cities in the world you've been to that had amazing food?
Agree, I spent a good part of my life in Singapore. The place is heaven for foodies!
Think of any cuisine and you can find it there (Ethiopian, Turkish, Swiss, Javanese are some of the new finds for me there).
If you are still there, try -
1. Lau Pa Sat
2. Food court at Marina Barrage
3. Arab Street
4. Holland V
5. Khansama (Lil India) for best Daal Makhani, Tandoori dishes
Apart from this, I liked australia for milk & dairy related food product. Amazing quality & flavour (without any additional ingredients)
I really liked the food behind Jama Masjid. Insane non vegetarian food, good for the soul.

Omen in Kyoto. Tokyo has some amazing restaurants. Also dotonbori street in Osaka. Sulawesi in Jakarta. Siem Reap too has a few interesting Khmer joints.
Outside of it, I had some really good food in Singapore and Istanbul.

Love the Thai cuisine, Pad Thai, mango with sticky rice, Thai curries. It’s cheap and fulfilling!
For variety - any global megapolis like Dubai, London, New York, Hong Kong, etc. These are 50X better in range than Indian cities
Personally - really liked kobe, amman, bangkok, delhi, New York, istanbul. Most places in the world have good food if not great
This is a nice list.
