Pathetic

I often get calls from TCS for hiring and this is happening from past 3 years, they collect educational and professional details then just mention...sorry you did distance learning in your graduation...they are not even bothered about professional career of 11 years and companies I have worked for...not even bothered about taking an interview and then based on that rejecting a candidate....thier pathetic policy is to ask candidates whether you did distance learning and if the answer is yes... directly no to you... people who does distance learning due to financial issues are not supposed to get a job from MNCs?? I have worked in 3 MNCs none of them asked me this pathetic question...they all evaluated me on the basis of my knowledge.

If you see employees from that company then you know something is definitely wrong with their career

Sincere request to all the so-called linkedin and twitter “influencers” to stop literally mooching off the dead soul to create content & gyaan around mental health. Please stop naming him and spare some dignity/privacy and respect for him? It is enough of a shame that his name has been revealed in public. Why are we deteriorating it further? Is there no empathy left? Legally too, btw the case is under investigation.

I worked in an Indian startup closely with CXO for last few years. They are pathetic in any way possible. Tech is limited to crud, that too doesn't work. The pay amongst their inner circle is in no way justifiable. For reference, I know people getting US pay remotely and that too doesn't come close to some of them. They hired a guy from a service based company with completely different tech stack and no product experience for 60lpa+ (I know this number because he drunk boasted about this once) as VP just because he was acquaintance. Now, this guy lacked basic human decency and tech skills. He didn't know things as basic as how to use git cli or how to talk to people. Every non-tech person that ever had to work with him called it quit. Even 4-5 year old employees (juniors being exploited mostly) that were there from inspection. He would ruthlessly "harass" them for his own shortcomings. The head of sales gets paid more than what their profit after margin is. They just keep on raising based on their IIT/IIM creds and connections and there's no business or problem that they are solving. Even the contracts they seem to winning is rather by pulling the strings, because the product or tech doesn't solve or do anything. Yet they're able to raise more again and again. It kinda kills me and fills me with so much rage that there are so many of them similar ones out there. I could go on and on about all the things that I had to see working here for years.

Off late I have been contemplating moving out of India given the work culture, pathetic pay scales, bad governance etc. Which is the best route to do so? Should I check with immigration consultants? I saw that Aus, Canada have skilled worker shortage. Will that help my case? Are there companies who are willing to sponsor visa? Any success stories that you can share. What are my options so I can make the right move ? PS. I am currently a PM (MBA+B.Tech) working for a US based company (remotely). 10+ yoe.
