Pathetic TCS policy

I have done my bachelor's and Mba from distance , university approved by UGC . I cleared my interview with Accenture but during background verification and offer discussion they asked if I have done 15 years of full time education to which I explained things. Now I am waiting for their call back. Whatever i have read says Accenture has a strict policy to not take people who have not completed 15 years of full time education.also in the job description they add this criteria specifically. But in the position to which i applied it was only minimum 15 years of education (no full time education was mentioned) Is there any exception, can someone guide. I have 5 years of experience bdw. Shall I wait or not. Kindly help

Hi everyone, let me tell you a fact regarding TCS. In 2022 I was part of a technical interview panel and select a candidate. As it was a virtual session, HR was also present. Once I selected that guy HR discussed about the salary. You dont belive in same technology having less than 5 years of experience than me HR agreed to offer a package which is 30% more than my package. I understood the loyal value of my employment being there for more than 7 years. Its really demotivates me in terms of everything and now i hv decided to leave TCS and untill i am there in TCS wont take any interview atleast. TCS doesn't care about its loyal employee.

My question is from TCS HR and employees: does TCS hire their ex-employees? I have heard that they do not rehire the people who have resigned in the past. I worked with TCS back in 2017; it was my first job right after college. I was there for a little over 1 year. I have been working in my current company for the last 5 years. Now, I am thinking about switching, and I was wondering if I should get in touch with my cohort from TCS again. I would not apply if there is any such policy. Please let me know if I should go ahead with TCS or not.

I applied for a PMO role at LTI fortunately cleared 1st round of interview , then comes BGV verification process before 2nd round They said me my BGV is red because , they are not hiring candidates from one of the company I previously worked for in start of my career! But my current employment is at Capgemini and they are not just considering current but also your 7 years companies list I have worked for! This is soo Strange and disheartening!🙁To just get rejected due to my pervious employment and not on my ability! Any suggestion if someone faced the same at any company?🥲

I don't know why Accenture do this but was really heartbroken at the moment. Now feeling bit okay and started the job hunt again but not finding suitable opportunity. Have tried referrals as well.

I joined TCS 3yrs ago and since then I couldn't switch. I am planning since last year March but actually not able to work on it. Even I couldn't apply actively. Currently I am involved in a role which has nothing to do with development and I feel bit less confident. So I want to know why it is so hard to leave? Does everyone feel same? Is this ecosystem somewhat responsible for this?

I met one of my college friends yesterday at a bar. She got married last year and was laying down the struggle of finding a new job. Now, apparently in many interviews when she reached the final few rounds, the HR or the Hiring Manager enquires about marital status and whether she has any children. When she mentions that she recently got married and that she does not have any kids, the company stops responding to her. She elaborated that although they might have found another fit for the role but she is a T-1 grad who did her Masters from an Ivy League college and has worked for 4-5 years in both NA+EMEA and India. It is becoming more apparent to her that, HRs and Hiring Managers have a strong bias because they are definitely presuming that since she recently got married and will likely have a child soon, that she will use up her maternity privileges leading to significant productivity drop. Meaning, that the company will likely have to hire someone else to make up for productivity loss. She does not plan to have kids for another 3-4 years but getting married is proving really hard for her. Especially in the Series B+ startups that she is applying to.

Guys need help in switching the company it's been 11.5 years in TCS with 6 LPA - if someone can refer please let me know
