Where to book pandit ji for Diwali pooja

My manager is asking me to be on-call on Diwali and has asked me to report in person. This is absolute stupidity. Although I will be compensated at 2.5x of my hourly pay but I would rather spend time with my family. What should I do? I have already tried to indicate that I have old parents and I want to spend as much time with them as possible especially given the limited moments I get to celebrate special occasions with them.

My parents have not accumulated much money, plus i don't want to burden them with the expenses of my marriage, hence I will be sponsoring the marriage on my own. Same is the case for my partner, and we will split all expenses equally. Now, here comes the twist, our parents wish to retain the "izzat" that they have in the society and want to do a big wedding. The budget that I have been told is minimum 20L. Tbh, I don't want to spend this much. I was looking for something ~ 5L. People on grapevine, especially the members who married recently, what do you think is a decent budget for marriage. Additionally, could you help out in some money saving hacks.

I am continuously getting emails wishing happy Diwali from partner, india head, global chairman , CEO but do I really need these wishes ? Instead stay silent or gift something 🤷🏻‍♂️

I needed some details about the festival and pandals. Can anyone help?

We just received a message on our company (Graphy by Unacademy) from our business head that, we should not come to him asking for 6-7 leave for Diwali. These are the employees who want to go back to there home town for the featival. Additionally he said that it is an optional holiday and we can ask for 2-3 days work from home max not more that that, and we should understand our business’s needs and remain focused on it. What should I do now I have to prioritise my family and going to my home town, like this I will have pressure from both ends, please pass on any advice.
