Is doing MBA in India worth it?

I would like to do MS in AI and have massive interest in management based roles. After completing BE, is it worth spending another 4 years of my life in studying further?

Hi, I have over 3.5 years of experience in IT and working at a service based company. I'm working in Oracle PaaS tech stack and not sure how much scope it has because not every organisation uses it. To switch technologies is difficult within an organization, unless you are lucky to have a project like that. I was thinking to consider MBA in business analytics because of the same. Will that be worth it or can someone suggest an organization which helps switch technologies?

I have heard mixed opinions about ISB/Abroad MBA. People who have done MBA what benefits did you get in MBA college and post that ? Did it help you in getting better job opportunities, better perspective of business, better network?. OTOH I have heard that MBA is an useless degree and not worth the time and money investment. What are some pros and cons. Thanks.

We all know doing an MBA from abroad is expensive. After passing out, is it true that there is no possibility of job placement and then you end up with a crippling debt with no job to look for. I always dream of doing an MBA abroad as the experience and globalisation is much more. But what's the cost of this? Is India overall a better place to do an executive MBA in terms of better jobs and recovery of investment?

Does mba helps in long term? I know in short term it doesn't pay as much as sdes. But in long term sdes have salaries capped after certain stage. So if one decides to go into executive position, does not having mba hinders the process. Has anyone experienced this non - sense. I know this doesn't happen in usa, there people from philosophy background can go into higher position on the basis of merit or politics:). But here in India how's the scenario. Please put your thoughts.

Saw a couple ads on Instagram and their website seems cool. It seems they have a cohort based learning and I like learning by practical experience model instead of relying on outdated bookish knowledge. But do these “alternative MBAs” have any legitimacy according to employers? If anyone’s a graduate I wanna ask: How was the experience? And did you land a job after getting the certificate?

I work in a consultancy as associate software engineer it's been more than a year, I wanna to master without leaving job ... how's WORKING PROFESSIONAL MBA (CONSULTANCY MANAGEMENT ) FROM BITS helpful or not.

Me: APM with almost 2 years of experience looking to do an MBA to fast track my career. Post-MBA roles: - Product Management - Strategy Roles - Program/Project Management - General Management - Other similar roles Long term goal: To stay in India; fine with working 2-3 years abroad. Query 1: Considering an average profile with 9/8/8 in high school/intermediate/college, tier-1 undergrad and 2 years work-ex at a start-up. Do I have a chance to bag an MBA admit from the following with little scholarship: - LBS - Insead - HEC Paris - Oxford - Cambridge - SDA Bocconi - NUS Singapore - IESE - ISB I'm targeting 1 year programs only for cost purposes, hence the US is out of the picture. Feel free to suggest good 1 yr US programs Query 2: How much GMAT is required for my profile to get into these schools? Query 3: Are 2 year IIM Programs more advisable for me and should I leave abroad colleges altogether. At the maximum, I can't wait more than 3 years of work-ex at the time of applying due to personal reasons. Please guide me🙏🙏🙏🙏
