Water Shortage

Time to close all tech parks and ask people to wfh or wherever! Haven’t seen such a bad state since 2015. I read schools are shut. When are they shutting IT parks and ask people to wfh? Hope it happens asap.

I spoke with some friends in Bellandur, Sharjapur and they all claim they have no problem whatsoever. However, the media is going crazy everywhere. Just wondering what areas are hit the most with water scarcity? Also, mention if YOU are facing the problem yourself and what are you doing about it?

- rainfall has reduced - > 70% lakes have dried up/covered up by builders - its not even feb and there is shortage of water everywhere. There are people literally carrying jugs of water on their head like villages if you head out after evenings. - brigade/sobha/prestige societies with flats > 1.5 cr have put out notices with water supply being cut for more than 6 hours everyday, wtf is Bangalore real estate really - water supply here was really bad initially ( hard water, polluted water) but the water shortage in feb only is really worrisome. I want to understand homeowners/aspiring homeowners - how are you planning for this? Are You even worried about this? Enough said. Get your shit together, BBMP. Mandate a WFH and shut the tech parks down honestly. At least SWE jobs.

I see lots of posts about water crisis in Bangalore like people going mall to 💩. Office saying employees to work from home. So many things I am hearing. But I never felt that water shortage. Just wanted to know how real is this ?
