How many users does Grapevine have? Any idea folks?

How many actual users are there on grapevine? Is it similar like blind app in west?

Currently it seems like a WhatsApp group of ~ 15 people interacting with each other. Not sure how does the platform intends to grow

Grapevine has 50k installs on Android devices. On iOS, it likely has a maximum of 30k installs, considering the popularity of iPhones, especially among tech users. While Grapevine has mobile apps on both platforms, the number of web users is likely to be very limited. Let's assume there are 10k web users. In total, this adds up to 90k users. It's important to remember that this is an optimistic scenario, as active users are always fewer than total installs. Then how did they manage to get 103k members in the Miscellaneous community.

2008 Orkut 2011 Facebook 2012 Twitter 2013 Instagram 2015 Quora 2016 Reditt 2019 Discord 2020 Tiktok 2022 Snapchat . . . 2024 Grapevine. Except GV, none of them is shipped from India. Social media has evolved like anything. Now my 90% time goes to GV and distant 2nd is Twitter and LinkedIn etc. GV can be really big if things go right 👍 LinkedIn has 100M+ users in India, so TG is huge. Monetization should be done in such a way that it doesn't snatches the charm of product unlike other SMs ex quora. Any suggestions to make GV a better product gvians?

Pardon me for being so naive here. I want to understand this new type of startup trend. 1. What’s the source of motivation for their employees to stick to their jobs? 2. How do apps like these think of monetizing? There is no ad, no paid feature per say. 3. Grapevine has probably built some kind of a platform. But how is this different from platforms like twitter, facebook or any other social media platform? 4. How much money do you think has been invested into building apps like this? 5. The DAU of this app based on my wild guess must be around 5K. I may be completely wrong here. 6. What according to you is the current valuation of grapevine? 7. Saumil Tripathi, the founder of grapevine is ex-google employee as per his LinkedIn profile. There is no mention of any other any other startup he owns. 8. Grapevine has a team of 10 employees (as per Saumil’s post a few weeks back) How do these guys make money? I’m awestruck by the guys working in grapevine. How did you started grapevine and manage community effects, did you go to paid channels? Do you believe in grow fast or die or growing slow in community apps is also fine since credibility comes with size of community. Is it just me or is grapevine community really small? I keep seeing comments from few selected people only and not many new comments everyday. My experience is based on the "indian Startups" community.
