How do I switch from Analytics to Data Science?

Hi! I'm a CA Inter pass out with about 7 years work ex. I have worked in fields such as Accounting, Audit, Taxation, Compliance and Reporting. And i for a fair fact also believe i have a thing for Data analytics. I get too excited when i have to work with large chunks of data on a spreadsheet to formulate results out of it. I want to get into Data Analytics. How do I go about it ? I have been learning R and Python at a slow pace. Suggestions and inputs are most welcome.

Currently I have 1.5 yoe as a data scientist with CTC of 6 lpa. Thinking of transitioning to Data Analyst or SDE but can't figure out. I have graduated in Mechanical Engineering, so I don't have the pedigree to become a good SDE. What you all think?

Im an analyst and have experience of ~2 years and I think I'm pretty good with data,numbers and in general analytics. I know most tools in analytics but now I think I've done enough. I like this field but have no clue how to get into DS. Any help will be appreciated.

I am an IIT Btech in Mechanical 2014 graduate age 31 and I started teaching Maths to JEE aspirants right after my graduation. Somehow I wasn't satisfied with it so I went to Canada in 2017 to do a graduate certificate in Computer applications development and did some online courses in Python and joined Micromasters in Data science from MIT which I couldn't finish, and ended up jobless in Canada. In lockdown I came back to India and in 2022 I rejoined the JEE teaching where I think I will be able to do good. Now at the age of almost 32, should I rethink about studying Data science, can I do well in the field of AI/ML if I pick up the courses again? Will I be able to land a good paying job in Delhi NCR, or should I just keep teaching since I'll get good at it in coming years?

I have close to 6 years of experience as a data scientist- all hands on role. I lead workstreams & small sub teams. From here, how do I upgrade myself to a more leadership position in data science roles? Most of my experience lies in traditional ML using python with a concentration in Pharma/Healthcare Industry. Hi guys, I have a tier - II MBA, 5 years of work-ex post MBA. I currently work in marketing and the pay is good. However, I struggle with my mental health in this role, especially because I am an introvert who deals with ADHD. I have figured out that IC roles with minimal dependency on other people is where I thrive. I also like working with data in my role, whenever I get the chance to do so. I figured that Data Analytics/Science could be one of the fields that I could work well in. How do I pivot to this field? Where do I start? What kind of salary structure can I look at? What would be the growth? Is it even worth it?

Hi all, With changing technologies in IT after a long introspection, I am thinking to go to Data Science/Analysis field. Currently I am working on a project where we work on analysing data using SQL in client databases for anomalies or current flow that can be improved. I don't have any formal learning for data analysis field, but from what I learnt I need to learn python, statistics and probability, power BI etc for moving into data analysis field. After working for a while as a data analyst I can then move to learn to be a data scientist. Need your guidance as veterans in this field. Appreciate all the help.
