Last Sunrise 2023

I have been working from mountains and it has been a very good experience. I am here since last 13days no internet issue and mobile data is also fast enough. I got a tiffin arrangement as well. I am from Noida and before moving to mountains for a longer time just experimenting different areas of Uttarakhand and recently I am at Mukteshwar. I have been doing WFH for the last 3 years from my hometown. Before that i was in Bangalore(YOE:5). Now i am kind of bored, doing the same activity daily, visiting the same places on weekends. Thinking of relocating for short-term(1-2 months) somewhere, budget 20-25k monthly, not so lonely place. Suggest some places, internet is a top priority. If i liked the place, I can extend my stay.

Bangalore's infra has been crumbling under the weight of its population growth. I believe that yesterday's traffic jam was just a trailer and situation will only worsen with time. Seriously contemplating moving out of Bangalore after being here for last 5 years. People who moved out, where did you move? And are you happy now with your decision ?

29F, I still stay with my parents Working, earning >1lpm, remote work Over the years, I have realised I own no assets. Everything has been bought by parents EVERYTHING My mom would always make sure she or dad paid, saying you can keep your money for yourself (which I initially thought was very sweet) Now I see how I am dependent on them for all What ever I have bought can be put into a polythene bag and that's all my life (I generally spend on food and stuff that goes away) I have bought certain items for family or the house, but that isn't mine obviously I need to get out of the house, my mental health is at the edge

It's been 4 years since covid started and all of us went into the first lockdown (24 March 2020). I just thought of this while making another post, and this has actually taken me aback. It was such a crazy time, and now it's just long gone. - We got a lot of time to be home, to be around loved ones, most of us are privileged and hence Covid wasn't bad at all. We were mostly making Dalgona Coffee, sourdough bread, playing PUBG, watching movies, etc. - A lot of us also lost loved ones. It was really brutal for those who did. And it was always scary for the rest of us. - Most of us who have been in tech saw our salaries climb the fastest. The absolute peak job market, best hikes, the world was very positive in that sense - not as much work and enough pay to enjoy - The biggest thing I've noticed: Covid got me hooked to Instagram/YT Shorts/and other social media. I feel like I used to be more aware and awake before covid. Somehow, a lot of exposure to social media/content etc. has made me just very zoned out in life. I think a lot of us have a much shorter attention span. IDK if this is true, but certainly feels like it is true. Just penning this down because I'm genuinely tripping how long it's been.
