Mutual funds - Upcoming scam

Lately, there have been news surfacing about some incidents where discounts brokers like Grow have not even invested a user’s money in mutual funds, and when this guy wanted to redeem, he realized, the fund he has been paying for has not even been invested. I have a feeling that jext big scam is gonna be a mutual fund scam as tra king on where your money is invested is not possible and these big houses like quant, mirae, etc are showing really good returns ....what if they vanish in thin air someday... Your thoughts? I'm investing in stocks directly as don't want to take risk with my money.

There is a monthly CAMS report comes in my mailbox to tally the amount in each fund. If it’s not coming, go to the site and subscribe. You don’t need to verify each transaction, just match the total amount in CAMS vs Groww.

What if ur stocks vanish from ur broker account? 😜 Don’t spread panic if you aren’t aware of check & balances kept by regulator. Keep an eye on Monthly CAMS report, it contains all the investment records.

bro just download MF central app, any amount invested in any fund will get reflected here. Just have a look at invested amount 2 days after your SIP hits

Best Direct Sips

One of my relatives wanted to invest in SiPs. Asked my help coz am into direct stocks buying and USA market also. ( Made 10x in last 8y) So, i checked his phone and got only Paytm and phonepe through which I could have subscribed sips. But all of sudden I saw expenses like exit load and fund management 2% and 1% respectively. So, i referred grow and alas! The same charge reduced to 0.XY % ( x and y = 0,1...9) Then I researched little bit and got him these fund's. 5000 per month and 40% in large cap. ( Long term 15-20y plan) He can have moderate risk.( Got 3 kids, planning for their 20s) Please suggest if all these funds are fine or need to change something

What next on Quant Mutual Fund?

Hey Buddies, I am recently started investing in QUANT ELSS MUTUAL FUND to save taxes. However seems like the probe by SEBI is not going in right direction, including: - CEO Resigned. - Court Orders for Document Seizure. - Mutual Fund not returning much now a days. What steps should I take after this? Shall I change my mutual fund for ELSS? any suggestions on MF i should start investing in? Thanks.

Mutual Funds Buy / Sell

I started investing pretty late into MF's. Started with around 500-1000 rs per month around the covid period. I have stayed with those funds mostly equities. Till date have a decent XIRR of 30+ with around 20+% profit. (Dont even know what xirr indicates) I am not sure whether I need to sell this funds and reinvest into another funds.
