Mutual Fund High return is a scam or real

Any exciting Mutual Fund investment stories with long term investing ? How much returns have you made in 10-15 years of duration ?

Do you rely on moving averages, Support and resistance or do you add anything else as well. Would love to know your approach :)

Hello good people of grapevine, I have recently started my full-time job as a software engineer, and wanted to start my journey into investing. After doing a bit of research, I feel SIPs in mutual funds is the way to go forward at this point. For now I want to start putting 20k into MF SIPs every month. I took a look at a few MFs which were very high risk but over a period of 3-5 years yielded great returns (50%) as well. While the low to moderate risk MFs yielded low returns (5%). Though the risk is high, but seeing stable returns over a large period of time, how safe is it to invest in very high risk MFs and not incur losses? Any other advice is also thoroughly appreciated Thanks fellow grapeviners. risk appetite: moderate to high investment horizon: 5-10 years

Currently I have invested around 3 lacs in mutual funds. This is my only investment. I have got around 30% return till now (started in 2022). Is it okay to continue investing in mutual funds or should I invest in equity funds like index funds, etfs etc

Did you know that if you start with investing 90K INR Each Month and step up your sip with 10% every 2 years, assuming 12% returns You’d have over 30CR in 2040? Now obviously you can consider inflation but still if you take out 4% of 30CR each year you would have 1.2CR Each Year i.e. ~10 Lakhs INR every month! Like what even lol.. Is there a catch for this ?

So, i earn 1 lakh 19 thousand after tax. I'm fairly begineer in mutual fund. I understand different types of mutual fund debt, equity but i don't how to do benchmark I want to reach 1 cr in 20-30 years. I already started 13,000 SIP. I also have 32,000 EMI for home loan and yearly i will increase 1% - 2%. Here is below my mutual fund portfolio - mirae ELSS tax saver - 3000 (3 year lock in) - UTI nifty 50 index direct fund - 10,000 Please let me know if i'm investing in wrong mutual fund and suggest some other mutual fund which can give liquidity and i can reach 1cr in 20-30 years. We have heard so many times that it's difficult to beat the index and people should stick to investing in index mutual funds. Well I've been doing SIP in selected non-index funds for past 4-5 years and surprised to that I'm comfortably beating nifty 50 benchmark. How are your gains looking and how long have you been investing?

I don’t have much knowledge about investing, for now i have following investments - 10 Lac in FD - 5 Lac in stock where I have bought stocks of well known large cap company without any analysis assuming that it will grow in long term Now I want to get serious about investment and want to do monthly SIP so seeking for suggestion on what I should do SIP ? For now I am thinking to do monthly SIP in Nifty 50 For now I have appetite to invest 25K per month.
