The star of college who feared nothing. Always in the middle of girls. Ready to take anyone for friends. The late night party star. The fake promises to stop smoking. Currently no Frns by side. Always logging into the mobile banking app. Kind of confused everytime. Worried about finances. Stuck between wife’s and mothers fights. Worried about future. But yes the is also a phase of life. I am in a tricky situation with no hopes for promotion soon. Already spent a good 7-9 years of my career here. I want to take a break and rethink, maybe do an MBA or CFA Not sure whether I need a break or am being frustrated and lazy. Not sure if I will pick back that momentum I had in my initial career time. Also an opportunity has come knocking at the door, for a completely new field when I was mentally preparing myself to disengage from work. What to do, ?? I know it's my decision, but a 3rd person speaking honestly would help me a lot! - Need some good advice!

Yesterday I have given my gate-Xe , being a mechanical engineering student, it was good to write this as I dont want to go to core sector but to product management/Consulting, I have given this exam just for the sake of giving it in order to score good rank so that I could feel that I have achieved something , i genuinely prepared whole heartedly and studied every concepts did variety of questions and was expecting the rank under 500-1000 as per my preparation but Yesterday IISC Bangalore ask the questions which has never even asked in the history of Gate XE and I didn't study those topics , that made me anxious, although I solved enough questions but silly mistakes costed me a lot , now I don't have any hope to secure good rank , I failed my jee twice and was thinking this time that atleast I could score good but didn't expect this from myself , I m very depressed , it has been six years when I was preparing for jee and today when I am writing this and nothing changed in my life despite of working hard , at that time also I was surrounded by failures and today also I am surrounded by failures🙂🙂🙂

Spend the next 15 years dropping them off to various Classes, attending Birthday parties, & visiting Home Depot for various Home projects. Invite in-laws from both sides (him/her) every six months to help in house & for kids. Step 7 Green card waiting is over. You got it. 𝗦𝘁𝗲𝗽 8 By the time, you are in 40s, you have saved enough Funds. The plan for returning back to India has not worked out. Now find new ways to spend money. Was thinking about our lives. Ever since you are in school, you have something to look forward to. When you’re in 1st grade, you know next year it’s 2nd grade and so on till you finish your undergrad. Suddenly, you could be everything or nothing at the same time. Those who are good at this game of eternal growth end up grinding their lives away in the PCM -> Engg -> B-School -> Consulting hell loop. Weirdly, the determinism in growth fades away suddenly and you see people finally pursuing diverse fields. Then, the realisation kicks in. You’ve been conditioned to chase eternal growth. That is what brings meaning to you in every part of your life. Today has to be better than your yesterday, or else it feels like you’ve failed. I wonder how sustainable that is but till then we will continue to throw our youth away. My 2 cents: You have a brief moment in history. Don’t spend your 10 years of prime in doing things that don’t bring you any joy. Don’t make the same mistakes all of us make chasing joys because others are chasing them. Find your own meaning to this eternal growth.
