Stocks to invest now

Hey guys, How do you suggest investing ahead of LS election results, planning to invest around 50k. I usually invest in mutual funds only for mid to long term, so open to suggestions for lump sum mutual funds investments as well. However, looks like there's a possibility of making a reasonably good short term gain, any stock suggestions?

Hi All, If you have any particular stocks in mind which could go up after the election results. Please share. Note: I know that we should not blindly trust speculations but I have left trading stocks a long time ago. I know prices fluctuate very much after the elections, so just wanted to know the stocks which you are positive about.

With so much going to happen before the general election, how do you play in the stock and money markets? What will be your strategy?

Where should I invest in the current market scenario? It may sound naive but I want suggestions for the stocks. As of now I'm invested heavily in the railway sector for the short term because of the election hype (would eventually decrease my holding after the exit poll results) But for safety where should I invest now(promising small caps)? I'm a student so I have a fixed budget of 1 lakh to invest rn.

Given markets are at an all time high, what are some good stocks still undervalued and can give great returns?

We all know that majority of analysts and experts are optimistic of Indian Economy. It will be going to be the 10 trillion dollar economy by 2030 as per most. So we can make good amount of money in long term ( 15-20 years ). I am also investing in stock market ( majorly in index funds and self analysed stocks ). Also seeing current developments myself too optimistic about this. Prediction is if BJP wins this election will boost the market. But my concern is what if BJP have done huge scam internally which is unknown due to huge control over government currently. And what if that scam bubble break one day. Isn’t this going to make our long term investment to go negative and loose most investments. Even though I have soft corner on BJP, by seeing only ED raids on non-bjp politicians, if non-bjp person joins BJP his scams are waived off. I think this might have given huge advantage to some cunning MLAs and MPs of bjp and they might have done huge scams and one day it may break. It’s my thoughts. What all you think? Is there any scam bubble in progress?

Now that the second phase of the election is done and dusted, do we see a change in sentiment? I am hopeful for the NDA to form the government, and because of that, I've bet almost all my savings in stocks and MF (haven’t taken any leverage though). But if the results come otherwise, the market will crash like hell, maybe by 20% for sure in the short term. I'm putting this here as we have a very diverse community from all over India.
