Here's my profile, need some help 1 YOE - GTM role - 9 LPA - B2B startup 8 months break - build products & learn product management. 2 months - Product Intern - 30k stipend - B2C startup 2-6 months(ongoing internship) - PM Intern - 40k stipend - B2B SaaS startup. Indian. I am a SDE (backend) currently. ~2 yrs exp. 16 LPA and I work 40-50 hrs a week. I like where I am, but I am not feeling the zeal for tech anymore. Probably will do a MBA down the line (thinking abroad, not sure) Looking for equal or greater pay, similar WLB, new domain. Should I switch to PM and try a hand at it? Am I aware of the reality or living in my own isolated reality?

A friend is applying to a US-based unicorn startup. The role is remotely based out of India. First PM from India. The average SPM salary available online is in $. Comes around $150-250k. No PMs are based in India, and expats are not replying on LinkedIn. The PPP comparison makes the average salary in INR go high. Any idea what number could one quote for the role?

I have 2.5 years of experience working as AI Engineer across 3 product based startups. Have worked on 3 distinct products/features. Interested in role of a PM, and considering to switch. Is it a good time to switch? Will be joining a cohort, reading a few books, case studies, network to learn about PM and interview prep. My current CTC is 14.5LPA, will I have to take a pay cut if I start as PM? How difficult will the transition be?
