Need advise on starting a business

I geniually want to understand why we are behind in manufacturing ? Although I'm from commerce background but I would love to know how does one start manufacturing business in India ? What type of engineers you need ? Honestly I don't have any clue but if any has some information pls discuss here.

Do we have to take licenses? How much capital is needed? Is it an overcrowded market with minimal profits? Requesting folks here from manufacturing sector can ahead any light . Thanks .

I am starting a D2C fashion brand. Haven't been able to arrange funds from any sources. In a way, it's a chicken and egg problem in market conditions like this. Funding ke liye traction chahiye and traction ke liye funding chahiye. Need 15 lacs to get things off the ground. Considering the minimum order requirements and marketing expense. I am ready to put more than 70 hours to start and run my own business. Looking for some ideas with certain criteria I have in my mind 1. Scalability - Biz should be scalable enough to reach 100 cr annual turnover, fine if takes mid to long term 2. Margin - should have healthy margin, not looking for VC money to run it 3. Location - setup and operation can be done from anywhere 4. Non-tech - I am not a tech person, so the Biz should be done without hightech IT infra as I want to run the show on my own. Sourcing ideas for myself, because I want to start something my own And for other non-tech people, who are also in the same boat as I am. Let’s see if we get some good ideas here!
