I have full stack development experience and I still code. I work with a product company on healthcare domain. I want to build something solo as a side hustle. And with the tech knowledge I have acquired, I am 100% confident I can build it. I’ve already gathered some mobile app/platform ideas and have been working on a few of them. Doing some research as well. The thing I lack is a strategy and direction to reach prospective users. I have no idea about how startups operate. I have never been into freelancing either. I know nothing about regulations and law. I have only a limited knowledge about investment. My short term plan is to finish building some MVP features of the apps and publish them to Playstore/AppStore. (I’m sorry, I do not wish to reveal the ideas now) How to reach users 0-1, 1-10 and 10-100? How should I plan financially? Isn’t it possible to go solo? I have someone in the US who has agreed to help me in coding. But he has only 2 years of experience. One advantage is he can give me US insights. I don’t want to induct more members as no one is ready for commitment. Or people just back out even after committing to it. Btw, I am not active on social media. My network in the internet world with people isn’t great. I’m seeking advice from you guys on areas that I need to consider to make my app/platform grow. All this, is going to be side hustle.

All the PMs I see have an MBA or are past engineers. I'm from an arts and design background, Tier 1 institute. Worked in tech for 5+years and learned how to build products. Based on feedback so far, I'm doing fine. But I worry about progressing in my product career without those external signals. Product feels like a boys club full of people from the same universities and backgrounds, with the same extreme quant-driven approach. Is there room for diverse educational backgrounds in product management, realistically? Which companies have you see hiring these types of PMs? Would love to hear from others in the same boat.

I have a job interview coming up and want to get everything right this time. Would appreciate any suggestions. I usually start by telling where I've done my college from and then talk about the work I've done at my current firm. Anything more that I should add?

I am a graduate from a tier-1 engineering college and will be starting out with a job in a few months at a financial services MnC in an analyst role. I am looking to build some income streams apart from my salary over the next few years and wanted to gain some freelancing skills to build an online business but am confused about where and how to start. I've seen people working on software projects and stuff like digital marketing but can't really picture myself in similar roles. I'm not a techie, my interest lies mainly in finance and business but I'm fine with exploring and venturing into something new as well. Would be great if someone who has done it in the past can please guide as to what can be some promising skills to gain and how to go about it.

I have been working as full stack developer past 7 years in stacks like react, react native , flutter, spring boot , nest, graphql so on and so forth. So far being generalist has worked for me as I am never out of projects. However recently I met one Engineering manager who advised me to become a specialist in one domain for better growth going forward . How do you all see this specialist vs generalist idea ?
