Need guidance

I am a Software Engineer. How much should I connected with my manager because everything managed by team lead?

I joined a new company 3.5 months back and my manager always finds flaws in my work. In case I did not reply to the email within 5 mins, he starts questioning my work interest and there are many such incidents. What should I do?

My teammate is very annoying😡 Whenever he is stuck with a problem, he just spends a very little time on it, and if he is not able to find a solution he gets me on the call and tries to get it solved through me and I kind of baby spoon him for the solution. This is a repeated practice and I am sick of it. Sometimes I thought to confront him but then I kind of push myself back thinking how he might feel about it. Please give me genuine suggestions on what should I do? Should I discuss this with my manager/lead? Or something else PS: He is elder than me but we are on same designation.

Assume you're currently enjoying your role as a jack of all trades. If your manager come and tell you that you need to choose whether you need to be a - Software Engineer - Product Manager - Program Manager - Analyst - Product Operations Manager Which one would you choose? And why? Note: You're currently contributing to all of this in someway or the other, and the manager wants to ensure that you are also having a good career growth within the company, or you should be ready if you're looking for an external job. The manager and the team is 100% in on supporting you on any of the above choice. [These are not random options, but came up because of the exposure to these domains and the related results delivered]

My manager goes into meeting without me a lot of times. Later he comes and explains me what needs to be done. It makes me feel like his assistant. If this continues, how will I make a presence of my own in front of the stakeholders? Ultimately I need good reviews from them and not just from my manager for a good appraisal. How should I deal with it or convey it?

I am fed up with people who try to steal other people’s credit. Be it your manager, your colleague or anyone how do you avoid them from taking your credit for the work you have done. Worst part is seeing them try hard to showcase it as their own. What do you all suggest for such situations?
