😮‍💨How to deal with a colleague who doesn't acknowledge your help?

So one of my junior teammate always asks for help for few things. Actually he and some other folks don't have access to few portals and tools on Azure and Databases due to security policy. While all the other folks who need access to same tools, do consiser the fact that I might be busy with my own work and ask for time when to connect. But this coworker starts a huddle out of nowhere, expects me to login at 11:00 PM at night, just messqges hello/hi without any context and doesn't stop messaging until I reply. He also talks in a manner like he's doing me a favor. I know that me having access to tools means I should always unblock others, given it's not there fault they don't have access to it. My manager even tried to get them access but the security team to paranoid. How to deal with this. Am I being rude here?

How do you communicate? Do you also send hi/hello and wait for the person to respond or Do you send a message mentioning the context?

Nope. I always send full messages with required context. Big believer of no hello.net. have even put it in my bio but no one sees that I guess.

Request the juniors to reciprocate - people take time to learn Also are you required to be up at 11 PM to give them access?

Create common credentials with read-only or bare minimum permission and distribute it among juniors.

He is not asking you for any personal help. He is doing his job and you doing yours.
