Will telecom dept call and cancel all registered numbers?
I got call from +919748491421 and they said from telecom dept and one other scam number is tagged to my AADHAr card. 8451879980 is tagged to my AADHAR and used for illegal activity. They asked me to come to Mumbai or complain to Mumbai police. Is this a new kind of scam or telecom dept is validating all scam numbers for security purpose?
FedEx scammers are calling themselves as telecom department, smart scammers, upgrading their modus operandi
Yeah really they pretend and explains things which sometimes makes us confuse

Sounds like a scam. If the police are really interested in you regarding some illegal activity, they will themselves visit you to talk to you, or will call you to talk at the local police station.
Why should you go to Mumbai or make a complaint? Makes no sense
@DRKrish this is a legit scam. Don't fall for it. I myself have received way too many calls for this, almost every alternate day 😂
Yeah, so I disconnected the call telling them I don’t know Hindi. And also few days back I read some news page that if there are many numbers under a parsons Aadhar card, then it would be cancelled..
So I guess they are using that as scam
