And the person who liked this post, is someone I used to regard because he is knowledgeable. If this is what is happening at the forefront, imagine the propaganda that is being shared within your mom or dads WhatsApp groups.
I read the post. Usne galat kya bola hai. And whatever is written in the post I already know this and I want govt to abolish few of them.
Like Waqf board, Places of Worship act, Minority Commission. They are second largest majority. Also, throw out all illegal immigrants.
So my suggestion is, go and read the history you will realise it.

Let people understand that if the current government comes to power then it is bhakts like them who will look down upon the common man, shame the common man, attack the common man, make life miserable for the common man just because the common man does not follow their ideology. The only thing wrong in this post that it was posted on public platform, else this is common mutterings in any social gatherings and I am sure similar conversations would be prevalent in meetups of “other” side.
Its a basic human psyche demonstrated over ages that it needs a identifiable external enemy for societal cohesion. Else fissures start appearing intra-culture and sooner it will throw up new enemies and rip itself apart case in point Pakistan.

The voting has always been on religious lines.
Tell me all the work done by BJP is also done for muslims, they never vote for BJP, so why should it be surprising that someone from the majority is asking for votes on basis of religion.
Congress has over 70 years divided the country over religion and castes, atleast BJP is not dividing the hindus over caste.

Yeah, even I saw this post. To some extent, I agree that LinkedIn is also a social platform to express your views but kinda seems wrong while doing it. This kind of content belongs to twitter.
And every election is based on religion only. Our country got divided on the basis of religion. Why is this new for you?😏
Fact remains is that more than half of the Indians, specially the religious ones, are bigoted at heart. They may not say it openly, but deep down, they are clearly at odds with the other religion folks. The divide runs very deep down. And that’s why many of the political parties exploit that divide by making it an election agenda.
Although, I also don't like the post, but it's public social media and they can post their opinion, just like you have option to block or mute that person. And asking vote for any reason happens in any democratic country AFAIK.
