How do the increments happen this year?

I'm working at payU payment from 2 years and from last two years they are giving the increments in single digit, is the market is bad ? Last year I got 4% increment I was informed by my manager that company is not doing good same has happened this year again I got only 4% incriment. In my team I have seen people are getting 8-10% also and in other team few have got 12% also, however I feel even 12% is the highest still it seems too low. is this is happening everywhere or it's just payU?

Give a range on what your base comp is.

4% on 80L vs 12% on 25L are both dame namesake increments. Where the momor budget increments in the team is equally distributed.

My base was 31.2 LPA before the increment now it is 32.4 LPA.

I joined payU with 30 LPA, the growth seems minimal.

I posted this question, just to check if the increments are happening low everywhere or it's just payU?

FYI when I joined payU I have 5yr of experience now I have 7 yr of experience, I joined with 30LPA base + 15% variable

At Flipkart I got an increment of 3-4 percent after getting Exceeds Expectations rating and getting promoted. Here's the thing, market is bad and management knows that even with low increment software engineers will stick around.

My suggestion stick around and switch when the market improves or if you can switch right now with a decent offer do that. High risk high rewards bro.

2023 is a year of virtually no salary increments

Folks, I wanted to make a prediction that most of us pretty much know already

2023 our salaries haven’t grown at all. Across my group of friends at work and college, the average amount of increment I heard is close to 5%
