Honest Opinion Needed

I have spent equal amount of time in MNC and startup facing high salary growths and layoffs. I am currently at 31 LPA in an MNC using all highly demanding tech stack and enjoying what I do. I need help understanding if 31 LPA fixed + (2.5 lpa variable extra) is a right as per standards both ways either underpaid or overpaid. I am more comfortable in an MNC and wanted to get more insights before making a switch.

Hey y'all, I'm a T shaped Engineer with specialisation in MLOps/Devops at a hardware+software stealth start up. Experienced in full stack, ML deployments, AWS, Kubernetes, Python, Kotlin and handling scale. On paper YoE: 8+ 3 years was with family business ( in tech), so if that is ignored 5+ YoE across the board in ML. The perks I get are work life balance and unlimited leaves and leaves compensation if any public holiday falls on a weekend. Currently being paid 32lpa base, no variables. I'm confused if this is good pay since I have a varied set of skills. The company has spoiled me by making me "time rich" so I don't feel like leaving. (Especially since I was burnt out when I desperately left and joined the current place) I know friends who do just backend getting paid 45 lpa but with no work life balance. And often times in discussions with them I feel like I can do their job easily (because of the varied skillset). I'm Fortunate enough to be in a place that did salary corrections even though other companies are laying off and appraisals are incoming in Q1. I'm confused, what's a good number that I deserve?

I am a UI developer with all the UI skills + UX expertise as well. Leading a small team at an IB in India. I get 27LPA + 5L bonus. Is this avg, underpaid or good?

I’m a final year student based out of India, and am currently doing the last month of my internship at a SF based startup. As the only DevOps engineer, and being quite skilled at at (at least according to myto YoE), I was getting paid around 2 LPA per month as a part time intern for the past 6 months. I recently got another 3 month internship offer from a foreign company, and I’m taking it since I don’t want to get stuck at remote job in India, and explore some abroad companies as well before I settle. Pay there is also quite good, but I don’t wish to take FTE there as I have to live in India only (family reasons, rural background, younger siblings and their study, etc.) Now when I finally start my job hunt in the final days of my winter internship, what should be the pay I expect from Indian / Remote companies? Considering I was getting paid a fair amount as mentioned above even in a part time role. Or was I overpaid and I should keep my expectations low or equal to it in a Full Time Role?

Hey Guys Been working for 6 months at a startup. Worked with react and react native. Made an app in react from scratch for internal use. Added many features to the other two existing user apps. I've also made personal projects with nodejs. My company will soon start giving me backend work on nodejs. I work 6 days a week. Currently getting paid 6 LPA inhand How much can I ask for aftwr 6 months? Please guide.

Exp: 5.6 years CTC: 13LPA Netive Android Developer

I am a software engineer with 3 YOE. I am working in a service company getting 9LPA. Although I do have advantages like unlimited holidays, flexible timings etc. And WLB is also good most of the time (except launch or demo weeks). I am a decent full stack developer.

Am I being overpaid? I am a backend engineer with 7 years of experience. I've been rejected by multiple organizations during salary discussions. They mentioned they can't provide such a high salary. My current job is consuming me completely. I don't get to upskill myself. Therefore, I am stuck in this vicious cycle where I want to leave my organization to work in a better environment along with skilled colleagues. However, to do this, I will have to upskill myself. Would love to hear your experience if you have been in a similar situation. How did things turn out for you eventually?
