What happens in Pre-employment health checkups?

I am joining this new organisation in India, they are asking me to get a Pre-employment health checkup. They also offer life insurance and medical insurance, etc so could be for that? But what tests are usually done? How was your experience if you've gone through this?

Recently I came to know my org is providing a full body health check up. Mostly done before when prescribed by the doctor. I was looking at some test packages and they are really confusing. Has anyone else done it before? And what are the tests to look for in the package. Also thought of consulting doctor before proceeding.

Need some guidance. I am currently working in a product based MNC with a decent salary for 8 months. I am having 3 years of work experience. Recently I got an interview opportunity from a US based startup company for a SDE 2 remote role with 50% hike. What shall I do? Should I be continue working in the reputed MNC or try to switch to a startup with 50% hike and complete remote opportunity? Any help and guidance is much appreciated 🙂

What is background verification ? How it is done if a person worked for multiple companies how do they verify this?

I recently started interviewing after a period of about 5 years and I am very surprised about the change in the way interviews are conducted these days. I have now interviewed for few companies like Sitetracker, Avance Clinical, Iron Mountain and expedite commerce and each organisation had their first round as a fit check round which i’m unable to clear. Can you guys share some tips around it.

Suggest some good sources to buy health insurance without hassles. so i am looking for cover of me, my mom and sister. Back in 2021, I joined a small company as a fresher with a promised CTC of 3.2 LPA and a 3-year bond. However, after joining, I discovered the actual base pay was only 1.8 LPA, and my monthly salary was just 10,500₹. So, after five months, I broke the bond and joined Accenture. Now, almost three years later, the previous company's advocates are sending me notices demanding 3 lakh rupees as bond repayment, and I even received a notice from the civil court yesterday. I'm not sure what to do next. Do you think this will affect my future job prospects? I have records of that company in my PF account, but I don't consider it as part of my work experience. Do you think future employers will ask for documentation for all companies listed in my PF records?

Need some help with Background verification in a MNC. In my past experience: - I got laid off on May 2020 - in July 2020 I got a job, did not like it and left early by Sept 2020 - I joined a new company on Oct 2020 In my resume , I have skipped this experience and mentioned other dates correctly. I didn't think it would be relevant! 1. Experience A - Till May 2020 2. Experience C - from Oct 2020 - .. 1. Would this be a problem for background verification? 2. Should I inform the HR about this ?
