Need advice on Career Transition

I've been an Oracle Database Administrator handling databases and exadata, data guard, performance tuning (not so great at it), little bit of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure as well and typical DBA tasks including tablespace reorganization, migrations, etc. for the last 3 years. Now I'm thinking about transitioning into a Data Engineer/Data Analyst roles as it seems it is having a more lucrative future ahead. I'm good at doing DBA things but I'm doubtful about this considering the future scope of this as there isn't much a DBA has to do in databases as most of the work is handled by Database itself but I have an interest in it and getting calls from other companies as well for the same role. Is DBA a really good career option considering the future and the compensation? Or exploring or gaining skills in data engineering/analyst has more benefit? Also, what would be the best among Data Engineer/Data Analyst/AI,ML Engineer?

Hi, Pls let me know your suggestions too. Im to working as a DBA. As far i know the DBA role will be there all the time, but the work will be reduced & people who monitor will also reduce. Specially i had seen articles and news about may are migrating from Oracle to other platforms PostgreSQL, snowflake,neo4j, Databricks, Cassandra etc. Even the calls which i get they ask if i know these additional tools for migration. So im training for a Data engineering role (Specifically in Azure now or Databricks/Snowflake etc) or else with AI Engineering which requires a lot of coding knowledge. You can choose wisely,pls let me know your thoughts too

I want to switch my role to a Data Engineering job as my current role is not having enough job opportunities outside. I am planning to learn tools on Data Engineering. Like the Data Frameworks: Airflow,SSIS,Azure Factory And Dataworks like Snowflake,Databricks,Postgres I need some guidance on which tool to start learning and if I plan to learn these tools for the next 6 months. Is it possible to crack the interviews....this is my 1st switch to a new company. Can anyone pls suggest which framework, Dataworks tool i need to start and has high possibility for getting switch to new company. If possible can you pls share the learning path 🙏🙏🙏.
