We have had summers before but situation is dire now

Hey everyone, So, I'm facing a bit of a dilemma here. You know those pesky power cuts? Yeah, they're becoming a regular thing. Now, I've got this inverter doing its thing for the whole house, but honestly, I just need a quick fix for one room. You know, keep the lights on, the Wi-Fi humming, and maybe the cooler fan running for a few hours. Any bright ideas on what I could snag to make that happen? Let me know your thoughts! Worst time to be in Bangalore. Its become unliveable. I have been in Bangalore for 20+ years. But the last 2 years are nightmare, construction everywhere, broken roads, crazy traffic, no water, its hot as Mumbai. what's happening. Once a beautiful city, now a nightmare. sad!

- rainfall has reduced - > 70% lakes have dried up/covered up by builders - its not even feb and there is shortage of water everywhere. There are people literally carrying jugs of water on their head like villages if you head out after evenings. - brigade/sobha/prestige societies with flats > 1.5 cr have put out notices with water supply being cut for more than 6 hours everyday, wtf is Bangalore real estate really - water supply here was really bad initially ( hard water, polluted water) but the water shortage in feb only is really worrisome. I want to understand homeowners/aspiring homeowners - how are you planning for this? Are You even worried about this? I recently got an offer and am planning to move to Gurgaon. I was trying to find an opportunity in Bangalore because I love this place, or maybe it’s just change I detest. But nothing worked out and here I am. Has anyone made the same move? Or maybe vice versa? Which place do you think is better and why?

How do you guys approach buying flat / villa in bangalore? Any good contacts if you can share would help ? Are online portals reliable for searching ? How was your house buying experience if you can share :) Please feel free to to post any recommendations as well. Thanks a lot in advance :)

Bangloriens are you also facing same issue in your locality?

I live in the top floor(terrace just above) of a apartment and the heat here is making me crazy. My bed is hot, my fan isn't giving enough air, it's hot air everywhere. I in general sweat a lot. When I go to sleep and wake up, my entire bed is wet from sweat and can't sleep for few hours because of the heat. For the entire day, I am shirtless and still can't take the heat. To make matters worse, electricity goes at anytime even in the middle of the day. That time, it feels like sweat won't stop at all. I don't have an AC here or power backup and the heat is fucking with my mental peace. Even the water from the filter is hot water🥲

These are just official temps , humidity makes things worse.
