How to crack top colleges for MBA?

So I am currently working in big4 , 1 year experience. I am thinking should I prepare for tech and switch to tech company or bank or should I stay here and prepare for GMAT and go for MBA abroad. I feel like maybe I can get into top 25 school if I try hard

You can legit get that knowledge from youtube too, but companies won’t consider P.S. I am from Tier 2 MBA so cant diss me

I need some advice. 1. I am a fresher and am considering giving the CAT exam this year. 2. Currently working as a data science intern and frankly, not enjoying it a bit. I dread debugging. I also feel everyday that AI can easily do 75% of my work. 3. I want some business side roles, thinking I won't have to stare at a screen all day, fixing bugs. What roles can I expect after doing a MBA, is it worth the extra 2 years and the money, and if you are someone who can relate to my situation, what are some of the things you enjoy about your work and some things which you absolutely hate. I might have completely wrong expectations, so please feel free to correct me.

Thinking of doing an MBA degree Main factor worrying me is I'm making a good amount of money in my current job (20lpa, 2yoe), but I want to do an MBA to gain a broader perspective/get a business outlook/make friends😔/personal growth. I'm kinda hell bent on going for it, but also worried about how to extract time for prep etc as I would not want to go below the top 6-7 colleges. Want to know others experience who went through a similar situation. Is it worth it ?

Hey, I'm currently 23 years old earning a decent 12l.pa with 2.5 years of work ex I currently do not enjoy my job, constant stress anxiousness, can't work here for another day. Planned to do my MBA and preparing for CAT this year and also putting my papers down in a couple of days. Considering I have my exam on the 26th of next month, how long should I keep my notice period? I'm planning not to work at all once I resign, as the company hasn't been good to me. I can keep my notice a week, but then again I won't have a job in hand and will lose work ex. Need some valuable advise here.

Should I go for MBA in top 10 b schools india like IIMs, XLRI, SPJAIN, etc So a little background about myself. I graduated in 2023 from a tier college and managed to get an off-campus job in an investment bank as an SDE. My current salary is 24LPA. Would it be beneficial for me to do MBA from the above mentioned colleges Like would the placements there be better than what I have currently? Also if I can save enough money in 2 years would a MBA in US in a top 20 uni be better than MBA in IIM? I will be going for further studies sometime in 2025 or 2026. My main goal is to improve my salary and build a network. I have also managed my own dev agency and did freelance projects in the past 4 years. People, who gone through the journey of GMAT, tier-1 MBA college India or US, how do you assess whether or not to join a early stage startup right after college, does it affect chances of getting in? keeping in mind I don't come from engineering background or tier-1 college. Also, where did you study for GMAT? I gave it once after prepping for a year to score around 650. Any recommendations?

So I left my job in Jan 2024 after 3.4 yoe. I wish to switch my profile to HR, and therefore, I wish to pursue an MBA degree. Now the problem starts: my family is pressuring me that if I'm unable to convert any good colleges, how will I justify my gap year so I should take up a job. I don't wish to take up a job since I want to focus entirely on CAT prep. They are also pressurising me that if I'm unable to convert, then I will have to start from scratch in HR with a low salary and they wish to see me married within next 2-3 years so why would a nice guy marry a girl who is earning 25k-30k a month. So I'm really stressed out. What should I do? Take up a job and then prepare for entrance, or ignore them and just focus on prep, like what's the solution? Everyone is talking about the problem, what's the solution?
