Is there a chance of finding someone

So as I am 23M planning to move to USA next year for my masters, i graduated this year and I always wanted a true genuine connection which I couldn't find while I was in college and i approached only two girls in college, one was herself confused that whether she liked me or not and there was other one to who I talked after college and she told me that she liked me back but she is in Mumbai and i m in different city so things couldn't work out unfortunately now as I am going there ,i really don't know what kind of person girls prefer , i am approx 5ft 8-5ft9 something , i am not like 6ft tall but I am good looking and don't want any kind of time pass or something like that , dating is like a game nowadays where both men and women hop onto different persons without establishing true bond , what should I do , whether girls there will prefer me or even if I approach someone in india then i really don't think that LDR is gonna workout without person physically present (IMHO) , i know finding a girl who actually thinks of long term , knows relationship goals is very difficult and even more difficult in USA 🙂 What should I do? Any advices

It feels so good to see how clear, honest and neutral you are regarding people, situations and what you are prioritising. Not as advice, but I would ask you to continue being who you are , need not do anything to impress anyone or people please irrespective of which gender the other person is, cause being genuine and authentic is the only way we can build meaningful and strong connections.The person you are looking for can be your guy friend's friend too!!! Hey , thanks a lot! Yep actually i believe be the way who you are , i know how to have a charisma , an attraction but never put extra efforts to impress anyone just for the sake of being in relationship because i believe if something is destined then things will start falling at the place with minimal efforts . although relationship requires time , effort , understanding but I don't believe in stalking, sending request , that's why I m not in insta too

Amazing!!! Looks like you have got the basics right!!! Then the only question left to answer for yourself would be , why are you worried about finding a genuine connection when you believe the destined things fall into place? In Rome do as the Romans do. If you follow this adage then in the USA, you will have to sensitize yourself to the casualness, limitedness and obnoxious materialism of relationships. In fact, it would be downright stupid to expect anything serious or meaningful out of it all, unless you are gunning for an Indian woman there (and you are too young for that). There was a time when nerdy first generation Indians would go abroad and be too socially retarded and insular to bother about anything other than their studies or career. Americans viewed this as a weakness. Don't let this hold yourself back. Go for the variety of girls that the American shores will bring forth to you. Your height, and any sort of Indianisms, will put you at a disadvantage. Don't let that stop you. Hit the gym hard and become huge. Develop a great fashion and grooming sense. Learn social skills. Practice MMA & Krav Maga (you will need it). Obtain guns if you can and before that know shooting. And alongside all of it focus on your work/academics while retaining the cultural moorings that really set you apart from them. Good luck!

Thanks a lot for such a brief advice... Yep i m taking about Indian woman And pretty much agree with everything and even guns you stated although it depends on state to state because gun culture is most prominent in some American states and less in some LOL but why MMA and krav :)

For self-defence. Americans are not just trigger happy, they are also prone to violence- Some races much more than the others, but nonetheless all of them are prone to violence in a way the average Indian is remotely not. If you couple this with the systemic prejudices against you, should the balloon go up, it is easy to see why there might be very little deterrence for an average American when it comes to engaging with the likes of Indians like you. When all else fails, you are basically all that you have. And you might as well put your best foot forward. Certainly, don't go looking for trouble yourself though. Americans possess an amazing number of guns. At the first sign of trouble, try to escape from the situation through the skills in combat that you would have learnt. Fight only as a last resort and only if you really have to.
