Crazy deadlines, annoying BA and Inexperienced team: SOS!

Hi all senior engineer I am also an engineer with just 2 years of experience. Recently joined startup and getting so damn tight deadline. The project I'm working on is relatively small but there are so many states update and too frequently. They don't have any low level design or high level design or any data pipeline or message broker service. Just figma arts which I'm suppose to implement but the state functionality is complex and not able to deliver within time. What should I do? Please advise me if you are seeing this doesn't matter good or bad. I'm good at all the things (I'll say better but I lost my confidence after the incident ) I'm doing but not able to get all functionality done on time. From data science team all API's ready. So please suggest me some idea with your experience. Regards A struggling engineer.

I made a series of bad decisions, and for the last one year, I've been working as a data analyst, on third party payroll, and with 4 LPA package. I have 4 years of experience with gaps. The work is super hectic, and I am mostly working 9 to 11 just because the team is cheap to hire an extra resource and I am doing the work for multiple teams. I have to add that I have anxiety, and I have a difficult time saying no or asking questions. I was managing my life with this pay, but recently, I'm finding it a bit tough. I've been applying for different jobs, and i can't even seem to get an interview. I know unlike SDEs, analysts doesn't get paid on the same scale, but 4LPA seem to be a bit low. I don't know what else to add here, so please ask if any specific details are needed. I need to get my life sorted.

I am a software engineer with 3 years of experience .For the first two initial years I was working as a QA in one of the good product companies with a very sorted work life balance . I had recently switched to a BE role in a startup I am very much lagging behind here because of my QA background ,the people here are very much talented and are great problem solvers .How do I reach that level ? I have been struggling to keep up with the pace here and finding it difficult to approach the tasks,even though i have been giving so much of time to work . And the TL in my team have a certain amount of expectations and hence they don't help according to that .(which i feel is fair) How should I approach this and level up here Anyone with a similar background and story please share your experience :) Any advice would really help

I thought I was the only one frustrated with meetings until my colleagues also mentioned they were not able to get work done because most of the day was spent on meetings Plus our boss (CEO) loves talking, anyway the meetings are agenda-less. He stretches 30 min calls to 2 hours and then has the audacity to question the productivity. Cannot tell me this, he gets very touchy when feedback is negative for him. And then writes sarcastic messages. Also, who wants to take up fights with person who pays your salary What to do in this case? I'm tired of working 12 hours each day

I've had some frustrating experiences at a certain B2B eCommerce subsidiary of a international bank, where the work culture and technology are far from ideal. Expecting 3-4x output from employees with outdated manual processes and technology is a tough ask. The sales team's situation is even worse, having to resort to fake orders due to unrealistic targets and a subpar app. It's disheartening to see top management prioritize PR exercises over addressing these critical issues.

So it's that time of the year when variable payouts are being processed. Everyone’s excited, checking their bank accounts. I get the email from HR - "Your annual bonus is..." I open it It’s enough to buy me a nice lunch I go to my boss and ask him about it He says "We had a tough year, need to tighten our belts" I look at his belt - it’s designer Meanwhile, I’m tightening mine to skip meals. I said "Thanks" and left. He says "Keep up the good work" I leave the meeting room and start Googling jobs - CONFESSED NO ONE

Hi Guys, I need advice on something, In a service company, I was moved to a client project and it's a big application, it'll take time for me to understand but the managers are living in a fantasy world where they are expecting me to understand and start fixing bugs and delivery super early because they have very strict deadlines with the client. Client is also aggressive. I'll do my very best but my 2 questions are 1. I'm not able to deliver even after doing my best, If they lay me off because of performance, can these managers do something with my offer letter, like not giving it or writing something wrong in the relieving letter which might cause issues in background verification, if I maintain good behaviour at least. 2. How do you guys handle such retards when they are pushing down on you, how do you reply to them when they are pinging you with nonsense.

Im a Product Manager 1yoe in a SaaS startup. I had a good experience in the first year. I got to build a product 0-1, competitor analysis, work on creating prioritization frameworks, UAT, content marketing, wireframing. However, since January the compamy started their stabilization phase, and PM's are now taking care of Sales and lead generation(Content, Ads etc.). The nail in the coffin is we are getting dragged to follow up renewals( Customer Success) 🤢 Im currently motivated to building something new, and it feels like we are being dragged into everything as the company does not want to hire. With no pay hike or any adfitional benefit. Please advice. Should I look for a new job?

It's been around 8 months as a Frontend developer working at a Startup. My senior is very fast at coding so he is saying that you should think about that you are made for development or not. I am feeling very demotivated. What should I do now?
