Hi folks, I've been frequently applying for DevOps Engineer roles and given many interviews as well but couldn't cracked any, i will not blame completely myself I've learned a lot these 5 months of my job change but since the market is highly competitive, can anyone here as an experienced DevOps Engineer throw some tips and strategy how to crack DevOps interviews, they are really throwing high level scenario based and mostly implementation based questions which only highly experienced person can answer still I'm fighting, it would be really helpful if anyone can give some suggestions.

Hi I’m currently working support role with 2 years experience but now I have started to transition my carrier into devops role so as of now currently my devops learning’s are going on but I’m not sure how where will get this job role cuz of I’m lacking so information like how are expecting an employee to be to entry devops roles like what are areas I need to be strong where and does mandatory any certifications I required for this role. Hey everyone, I'd like to hear your thoughts. Have any of you successfully aced an interview solely through tutorials, YouTube, or side projects without hands-on work experience? 
I am a SDET exploring a transition to SDE role, internally tried within my company ,not happening due to various reasons, hence trying to switch over. In order to achieve that, I've worked on full-stack sidd projects, practiced DSA, and made a good "tailored" CV that gets me interview calls. But I am currently facing mixed experiences in interviews. I am able to answer a few but struggle with some questions and seek advice on how to improve. Hi All,

I need suggestion from everyone from software/cloud/devops industry. As right i in a very worst condition. After working 2 years straight as aws cloud engineer i joined a product based company which promised that the work i’ll be doing is will be related cloud, devops and automation. But since one year i haven’t got any work which was promised else they provide me work to automate onprem network devices automation that too i have to request my team to give me some work. As i am the only one in the team who knows automation and cloud related things. I try to gave some interviews but some say no because of current salary and for some of them they have very high expectations as i am 3 years experienced guy. Can anyone who have been through same situation please guide me or help as i really wanted to grow technically but i am unable to.

Hi Everyone,
I have 5 ys experience working in Database support with having knowledge in SQL, Scripting and python.

I want to switch my role to a Data Engineering job as my current role is not having enough job opportunities outside.

I am planning to learn tools on Data Engineering.
Like the Data Frameworks: Airflow,SSIS,Azure Factory 
And Dataworks like Snowflake,Databricks,Postgres

I need some guidance on which tool to start learning and if I plan to learn these tools for the next 6 months. Is it possible to crack the interviews....this is my 1st switch to a new company. 

Can anyone pls suggest which framework, Dataworks tool i need to start and has high possibility for getting switch to new company.

I'm a frontend dev, with close to 5 years of workex. I've been trying to switch to a full stack dev role for a couple of years now. Tried switching internally, but it didn't work because there were too many backend devs and too much dependency. 

Stuck with an infinite leetcode loop, did online courses but couldn't put those skills to work in building projects.
 
I'm looking for some advice with a focus on cracking the interviews. The plan is to take up a Full stack dev role in the next 3 months.

How did you switch from fronted to a backend/full-stack role?

Joined a new org 9-10 days ago where I had been interviewed for a developer role in a legacy tech stack. Yesterday in a connect the TL told me I won't be working on the development side of things but rather in the environment/platform side of things, mostly doing configurations with minimal or no coding. The role seems very specific to this org and considering this is on a legacy stack I don't think there's much scope even in learning for me at all. I had two stages of interviews with this org and all of them were for a developer role, something like this did not even come up during interviews or the pre-connects I had with them pre joining. So confused and frustrated, because I had accepted this offer since it's a PBC and moved to North India even when I had a 22% higher offer in a tier 2 based service company in my home town. I have two options now:

1. My team has a great WLB. Stick to the non dev role & use the next 6 months to practice DSA & upskill myself from my current legacy stack to something more commonly used like Java/Node and crack some other PBC. 

2. Immediately start looking outside and interviewing again for a developer role in my current legacy stack, since I am on probation and can leave early and maybe even get a small hike over current CTC.

YOE - 2 

Can anyone please give some inputs or suggestions on what to do? Been interviewing since March and I finally managed to clear one and now this shit is happening.
