Simultaneously make plans to return back to India in 5 years ✈️ 𝗦𝘁𝗲𝗽 𝟮 - H1B approved🥳 Enjoy the influx of green currency, buy a toyota camry or honda civic! Also, buy a property in Hyderabad! 𝗦𝘁𝗲𝗽 𝟯 - Invite parents on visitor visas. Take them on the 4 Dhaam Yatra - Niagra Falls, the Statue of Liberty, the Charging Bull of wall street, and the White House 🙄 𝗦𝘁𝗲𝗽 𝟰 - Go to India, finalize a girl, and get married in 3 weeks - the arranged marriage way! Back to the USA. 𝗦𝘁𝗲𝗽 𝟱 - During weekends and lunchtime with other Indian friends, endlessly discuss 3 topics (1) When are you going to get GC, and is your priority date current? (2) How Modi is transforming India (3) Cricket 🏏 𝗦𝘁𝗲𝗽 𝟲 - Buy a home. Have 2 kids. Spend the next 15 years dropping them off to various classes, attending birthday parties, and visiting home depot for various home projects 🏠 𝗦𝘁𝗲𝗽 𝟳 - By the time, you are in 40s, you have saved enough. The plan for returning back to India has not worked out! Now find ways to spend money. Buy a Tesla or BMW 🚀 Also your Hyderabad property isn't lucrative anymore as INR has further depreciated against $ so enroll into a difficult struggle of selling the property and getting funds back to the states 𝗦𝘁𝗲𝗽 𝟴 - And comes the time for a midlife crisis. A shiny car, big home, green card, and a high-paying job doesn't add substance to your life. Now do something exotic to add flavor to your existence. A marathon race, intermittent fasting or maybe opening a side business! 𝗦𝘁𝗲𝗽 𝟵 - In your 50s, after your kids have graduated from Stanford or MIT, discuss how your life would have been different had you returned to India 5 years after coming to the USA! 🤔

Hello Grapeviners So I guess I hit the mid-life career crisis and finally resigned from Microsoft abruptly yesterday. Reasons for resignation: 1. I am saturated with my work and feel out of fuel now. 2. No Pay Raise or Stocks since 2 years. 3. No Promo in last 2 years even after being a top performer and winning multiple awards and accolades. 4. Was promised by my manager that I will be promoted in Feb but now he/she quotes budget. What my manager says: 1. You have a valid L1B, don't resign. 2. Says you will get the promo in September but now it is not possible. Please Note: I resigned abruptly without any offers in hand. I guess managers think that folks who have L1B won't resign so their promo can be delayed. Just wanted to share with the the community. Thanks 🙏

I have a strong passion in tech. I’m almost a nerd. The thing is, I never wanted to study the conventional indian way and therefore I don’t have a good academic record. 10th : 8.8 gpa 12th: 71 % Joined a civil course even though i loved tech, regretted and moved to another university after completing 2 years of civil. Completed graduation with a degree in ECE and an 8.1 GPA due to covid. My professional record is quite average with a 12.65 LPA offer as an SDE, 1 YOE. The thing is, I crave money. The current market situation and the opportunities available currently does not seem decent for me to switch and get a 20~30 LPA job. Therefore I am considering higher studies. I need some advice from people who have been there and done that. Share your opinion/suggestions, lets discuss!

As the title states, I am looking for companies in India that are used to hiring foreigners and sponsoring their visa. To give you a bit more background. I am a foreigner who worked in India for 5 years. From 2018 to 2023. At that point in time if you had a skill that is difficult to find in India you are elligible for employment visa without any income requirement. But now things changed. Nowadays if you want employment visa you have to have a salary of 21 lpa+ I am looking for companies that are willing to pay that much and go through the hassle of providing me visa documents once a year. I have background in language services, team management, business development, and analytics.

Off late I have been contemplating moving out of India given the work culture, pathetic pay scales, bad governance etc. Which is the best route to do so? Should I check with immigration consultants? I saw that Aus, Canada have skilled worker shortage. Will that help my case? Are there companies who are willing to sponsor visa? Any success stories that you can share. What are my options so I can make the right move ? PS. I am currently a PM (MBA+B.Tech) working for a US based company (remotely). 10+ yoe.

Everyone I asks says it’s not worth it but not a single soul I know has returned and each and everyone now own a house there after 6-7 years. So can’t trust the feedback.

So I got a job offer from a company named pixel group Ltd based in kensas, USA for a frontend developer role. They are asking me to attend a 7 day seminar at the office at USA for onboarding and everything will be sponsered. But I got this offer even without a single f2f interview. 1st was a video resume round, 2nd was a technical round and 3rd was a psychometric test. That's it no f2f interview. Is it some sort of scam?? I can't find any details about the company. Please help me. Your offer letter, encompassing detailed salary structures, holiday lists, work timings, and the code of conduct, will be provided after your visit to the embassy for visa stamping post verification completion. This was also mentioned in the email.
