Hi All,
I gave my first round of interviews.  Answered all the questions and also completed the app which was half built... Was asked to show data in the recycler view. The only no was from me for a question that I know Jetpack compose or not. So has Jetpack Compose become a mandatory skill nowadays ?

Hi, I'm working as a Frontend Dev for the past 3 years. Have good understanding and in-depth knowledge of things in JavaScript, React. 
Mentored folks/peers, cracked couple of offers from startups and other companies in the past. 
However, in my initial days I always wanted to be an ANDROID DEVELOPER, learnt Java, Kotlin Android Concepts till MVVM approach. 
Nowadays, as the Frontend domain is getting more cluttered, I'm thinking to move to Android domain considering the competition would be lesser there. 
Or start REACT NATIVE. 
Need some suggestion here.

Switch to native Android development

Hi guys, I'm a java developer i have also been exploring Kotlin for some days as its basically built above java.

How's the demand for Kotlin

I have been working on Android development for 5+ years now. Mostly native Android. Is it possible at my level to find new jobs in other technology (backend or Frontend web). 
My current organisation doesn't have an option to do so. So I will need to switch companies.

With the OpenJDK project loom( https://www.baeldung.com/openjdk-project-loom ) coming into existence and bringing a whole new concurrency model, do you think this compares to the Go Routines that have been gaining popularity for concurrency? Are these comparable? I’ve worked on Java but not on Go till now. So please excuse the lack of understanding here.

How did you transition from Android to BE. What was your strategy here. Did you just start applying for BE jobs directly and learnt on the job or did you guys do any sort of preparation earlier.
