It was a code review round. Simple fastapi code. I put a lot of genuine comments. But the interviewers were fixated on 2 solutions : one on security, and another on idempotency.

I have applied for leave for 2 days this Thursday n Fri, 
There’s certain important presentation came up on this Thursday.
I said I have lay over for 3 hrs. I will do the presentation in that, no issues from my side.

My manager said, no I don’t entertain such behaviours in my team. If you’re on leave, enjoy it. Don’t think about it work.

I felt weird coz, I have never worked in any org, where managers stops you to work 😅
