I have an offer from an early stage company in crypto space and i need help in making a decision if is it worth or not. As the sector is highly under the regulatory radar so business is at risk whenever new regulations comes is as in case with the most fintech companies as well. Also do you think crypto does hold some real value and is here to stay for long?

Need advice. Is it worth joining a crypto based startup at an early stage, keeping in view that the sector is too much under the financial regulatory authorities radar and business semantics can turn overnight?

I'm currently in a service based company, but want to venture into the fintech world and eventually join a fintech product company in the lines of Razorpay, PayU, etc. But being from the service industry, that too from a small non-popular startup, has been a main blocker.
Recently I got an opportunity to join a not-so-popular but well-thriving crypto exchange. Will joining this company help me to eventually transition to fintech domain in future ?

Start ups are not for weak heart and normal humans who have life after work. It's only for people who will give up their life to build somone else dream. Prove me wrong.

Would you guys consider joining a startup with only 3-4 people in the office? I’m a recent graduate and got an opportunity to work with a team of 4 

however i’m not sure if i should join because i’ve always wanted to work at bigger organisations and get that corporate feeling and i im also an introvert and hate being “seen/perceived” (iykwim) and that’s the case with smaller teams 

but again looking at the job market rn im scared id end up employed

How can one specifically target startups and succeed? While many pursue top MNCs or MAANG, getting entry can be challenging. I am keen on working with small startups. Has anyone experienced working in startups in Bengaluru or other locations where both good pay and learning opportunities are available? In terms of job search, is LinkedIn/Naukri or referrals more effective? When preparing for interviews, should one focus more on DSA rounds or development skills? What are the pors & cons or tips? I'm in an Indian crypto startup about 1y5m into existence and our product is in early beta right now. I've been a part since about 1y3m. I was the first hire.

The reason I'm considering a switch is because i was told we're a remote first company at the time of interviewing and after my joining they switched to in-office and all hires after me were required to relocate. They haven't made it a requirement for me yet.
I can't relocate, but now everyone except me is in-office and there's always a disconnect between me and the team. 

Decisions and discussions are done without me and I'm just told what they concluded. Sometimes even deadlines are set without informing me about the task even and i have to work/manage according to them.

I'm also technically the senior-most person after the CTO/manager (all others are either freshers or 1YOE). This has sort of restricted my growth as there's no one to review my prs or someone i can have a deep dive technical conversation with.

By how much I understand the manager and team are happy with me and my work. Also, I'm possibly the highest paid dev even as compared to the ones with the similar YOE.

I'm a frontend/fullstack engineer and the quality of work seems fine but i feel i could be doing and learning more in my field.

The culture and WLB has changed slowly for the worse as compared to when i was hired. 
Stuff like the leave policy and the whole in-office thing are the negatives.
But the manager doesn't ping me much regarding my work so that's a plus.

Switching doesn't feel ethical as the majority of the code is written by me and we're an early stage startup.
Not to mention with layoffs happening all around and a possible recession around the corner, it's not the best choice to switch i guess.

Any suggestions would be helpful!

after seeing posts on here yall wont proll believe me but who cares

im 18, a highschool dropout who’s been working at startups since 2022

started out in crypto infra companies as a backend dev and now building in ai/crypto.

started out as an intern during 11th/12th grade at an agency then went on to work at crypto infra for ~year

then took a break to finish highschool, then working at another us based startup now

this is how my comp progressed

15$ / hr at first agency job ( did like 20-30 hrs a week since had school going on asw )
promoted to 20$ / hr after 2 months, left shortly after cuz boring work

friend from twitter referred me to this crypto infra company and i had 0 knowledge in crypto, but still started working with them as an intern
was doing 450$ a month for 3 months then we raised a small check from an angel then did 2500$/month for the rest of my time before quitting to finish school 

then after school got over was finally able to start working again, again through a referral and through twitter reachouts, multiple crypto founders dmmed me, trialed at some places didnt like many, then chose a fully remote, async, lean team building an amazing product

started out at 4k$ a month during trial

then when i switched fulltime negotiated to 9k$ a month

worked for a few months then left cuz thought since i was on a gap year might as well do my own thing than work for someone

then was building my own shit in crypto for a few months, then decided college is useless for me then joined them again as a blockchain researcher at 12k$ a month

so i’ll specify some nuances
i have twitter reach and everytime i tweet something related to me being unemployed i get like 4-5 dms with offers
most of them are founders reaching out at series a-c companies
i dont like most because shitty structure

im super spoiled in the terms of remote async and full leadership end to end

im pretty dumb tbh, just did the right thing at the right time but still learning on the daily!
