Just search “MBA is dead”, you will find interesting articles from 1900s 😂

If it's dead then why do we have the weekly I am tier 1 - fresher - 50lpa - overachiever - should I do an MBA posts?

Come my buoy, I will give u some cohort sarcasm course!

Things are definitely not that bad in ISB. Probably less startups offering the pay like last year. You have had cases like cogoport who hired a bunch and laid off plenty in a couple of months

Isn't ISB crazy expensive? How much does a grad has to earn to recover the cost?

Consulting and IT has crashed. Imo job market above 20 Fixed has dried hence these IIMB and ISB type colleges suffer. Their batch size also runs 500+.

At a BLACKI IIM right now, doing their full-time one-year MBA program - I can't say the MBA is dead, particularly when you are a part of a batch with many people looking to transition from core industries/PSUs/Govt. Sector to the private sector (and the MBA is one of the easier routes), but I can definitely say that the placement scene is looking grim this year.

Thanks for sharing the news. Hope the situation improves by next year

Don't know about MBA being dead or not but the placements this year are certainly low both in terms of number and the average package which is due to the market
